Good Little Feet
Used these on lots of items to stop them slipping on desks, dressing tables etc.Cleaned surface with alcohol before applying and the adhesive seems to work very well. Haven't had to replace any yet.They also make good, unobtrusive cushions for doors that tend to bang.

Go drom clang to clunk
These are very simple to install on door frames. They are cheap enough to use a few at strategic points on the door frame where the door closes (i.e. on the opposite edge to the hinges). One may be enough on some doors, three on large doors such as fire doors (placed ~200mm above the handle and 300mm from the top and bottom edges). If your doors fit well and are well hung this will stop them crashing or clanging shut and they will now 'clunk' shut. One WARNING: if your door catches are only just engaging, adding these may mean that they don't engage at all because of extra space that they take up. Some of my doors, which fit well, did that but, when used for a few days, the pads squashed down a bit and the latches now engage. In some cases they may not settle down sufficiently; it would then be necessary to adjust the striker plate into which the mortice engages to allow it to re-engage.
