I like how it texts over wi-Fi when it senses water. Immediate notification.

Really easy to setup and use. Tested it in a dish by drizzling some water in the bottom of the dish and it notified me immediately.

Inadequate hardware & deceptive subscription information
Product is shipped without any installation information. Support stated the instructions would be found by scrolling thru the Amazon Listing. Even these instructions are sparse.Notifications are not adequate. There is no mention of the need for a SMS subscription even though in the Amazon description, says no subscription. There is a direct to phone (that's running the app) notification that posts at the first alarm but doesn't continue to post if the sensor continues to detect water. Easy to miss notification. The sensor audio alarm is said to be75 dB/1m, but I found it inadequate especially if the sensor is located in a sink cabinet. 1m is about 3 feet so you would need to have your ear next to the cabinet door. It's not even as loud as my clothes dryer 'clothes dried' signal.Overall view is that the hardware is poorly designed plus misleading SMS notification subscription marketing information.

ONLY works on 2.4 ghz
Love the idea of wi-fi app. I'm not technically savvy and trying to change my 5g to 2.4g for the use just wasn't something I'm wired to do. I spent a total of over 6 hours in 3 calls with my phone carrier. Nada. Nope. They just messed up my wi-fi enough to not work until I called them back again.Please, won't somebody come up with a 5g device to do the same detection?Customer service was a 10, they really tried to help me!
