Good value for money
The media could not be loaded. This is a brilliant camera. There are lots of settings you can go through to set it how you want it to perform. I looked on youtube & a chap there went through every step making it easy for me to follow. I've tried it a few times with my dog in the back garden & the pictures & video come out great. Not sure how long the batteries will last but it has a usb port so can run it off of a usb charger & lager battery if needed. I have just found out that the usb socket is not for charging or running the camera, it's purely for data transfer. A video clip & a picture of my dog in my back garden. Great quality considering the price.

Great camera
What an absolutely brilliant camera for the money. It’s easy to set up and use I’m really pleased with it. Battery life is good and motion detection is excellent.

Excellent value for the money
I have bought cheap trail cameras before but from thi camera the resoution of the photos is excellent. I was apprehensive about the comments on battery life. I tried recharge batts first - but they never last as long as non-recharge batts. I only put 4 in (not 8) & it has been working fine taking 2 shots at a time for over 5 days. If i go away I will put the full 8. I've only had it a week but am well impressed with the quality of camera & results. One picky comment - I have had easier replay menus on other cameras but it's OK.

Excellent value for money
I bought this for my wife, who enjoys watching the foxes who visit our garden during the day and at night. The camera works very well, and we are delighted with the results. The camera arrived neatly packaged with everything that might be required, and was easy to set up with date, time, etc.. It will format the SD card and takes 8 AA batteries in a convenient removable tray. The SD card slot is helpfully on the side of the camera, rather than underneath, so the card is less likely to be dropped when removing it.We have used it in several locations for the last few nights and it is giving us excellent shots of foxes that visit during the night. The pictures are sharp and clear, and short videos have already been posted on YouTube! All in all we are very pleased with this camera. It is very good value for money, and I recommend it highly.

Easy set up
Easy to set up with great results, absolutely fabulous value, I have paid twice as mush for my previous camera and results are better with 4K video capture

Depends what you want it for
I bought this camera because of some strange droppings in the garden and I wanted to find out who the visitor was. Several nights in various locations produced one photo of a blackbird and the legs of family members on the garden path. Nothing else.Since then I have tried many combinations of different settings and I now understand why it appears not to work.1) The motion sensing is slow. I have tried walking across the camera and it only starts to capture video when I am almost out of the frame.2) The field of motion detecting is just a few feet. Walking towards the camera, having set it to take three pictures in series, the first photo is me just a few feet away, the second is just my shoulder as I go out of shot and the third is empty. This means to get good results you need to have a very good idea where your subject will be and that they will remain there for some time. Or, you just need to be lucky. The subject doesn't have to be large, for example a bee triggered the video and was captured for some time flying around in front of the camera. However, a wood pigeon coming in to land was only detected when it had almost disappeared into a flower bed.Another problem is battery life. I bought 8 Powerowl rechargeable batteries with their smart charger and these will last a couple of nights before recharging, but they are expensive. The default settings on the camera are all designed to preserve battery life and minimise storage use, not for the optimum performance of the camera. However, even the less economical settings don't improve the ability to detect motion.I think this camera would be great if you know where your subject will be, otherwise it is really no use.Update: After I posted this review I was contacted by Ceyomur Customer Service, who made some recommendations on settings to improve the performance. As the results were no better, they offered either a full refund, or a free upgrade to the CY60. I opted for the upgrade.Having now used the CY60 for a week, I feel my review here is comfirmed. From the start it has captured night time visitors to the garden, in particular two cats who I expected to see, but the CY50 didn't pick up. The most stunning and unexpected revelation was a sparrow hawk caught on video flying low across the garden before swooping up over the trees. As well as more reliable motion detection, the video colour and definition is way better than the old camera.I've added a star to my rating, due to Ceyomur's proactive customer service, which has been superb. As this is a review of the old CY50 (which I think has been improved since I bought mine) I can't add any more - my reservations about that camera remain. I can see both the CY50 and CY60 sell for the same price and, knowing what I know now, I would go for the CY60 every time.

Nice camera, great customer service
The item was delivered on time and it was as advertised and in good condition. Unfortunately it didn't meet my requirements so I contacted the seller and was very happy with how they dealt with this by sending me free of charge a new cy65 camera which is superior to the cy50 and fulfils my requirements.

Doesn't accept so card
It is very important to get a good quality memory card!! I tried many cheaper ones I have collected here and they failed. I then gave a rubbish review for which I now apologise and regret for something which was my fault. I have since bought a better upgraded card and it works brilliantly. Excellent clear photos, easy to follow instructions and excellent customer service.
