Good for LED lights
I'm echoing another reviewer. I put the film directly on my new LED light bar and another layer just below it. The algae stopped rapidly growing and the aquarium is back to normal.

Totally works!!
The film went on easy and had kept out the sun ray's as indicated. My tank is clear!

This works. Prevents algae & water clouding
Without being dramatic this was the answer to all my problems with cloudy algae water in my aquarium. The tank is in the kitchen and it was unavoidably in sunlight every day. After applying this film to just one side where the sun would hit it (and a slither across the led light in the lid) I still have perfectly clear water 2 weeks later.Following the instructions carefully to make sure it sticks properly to the tank. Once applied it is completely transparent with no tint - you wouldnโt know itโs there.Great fast service from the seller too.

Good luck
instantly sticks to itself, despite extra pairs of hands, or soaking it in water. sticks to everything nearby. immediately develops creases that are permanent in the plastic. can't heat it or crease them away with the squeegee.

Awful stuff
Arrived in my large Amazon box but the product box was badly damaged rendering the product itself unusable. It was already creased and folded, sadly it went straight in the bin.Tried to make it work but like others have said the film is super sticky and sticks to anything including itself. Take my advice and close a curtain instead
