Cheap Saw for Light Work Only
First - this is NOT threaded as someone reported - it will not screw on to an extension pole. The handle is hollow and about the size of a broom handle. There's a hole in the handle with a threaded bolt going though it. You're supposed to provide the pole, drill a hole and bolt the saw to the pole. I purchased this because I thought it would just screw on a painter's pole - NOT! Ignore the answer to the Question saying it's threaded - it isn't!The Good: it's sharp and cuts well and has a hole in the blade to hang it.The Bad: the blade is too flexible and bends when you push hard. It's bare metal and will rust. The hollow handle consists of fairly thin hard plastic (since it's hollow!) and the single bolt meant to hold the saw on the pole is very near the end of the handle. If you mount it on a pole this arrangement isn't going to take a lot of load before it breaks.Basically - a cheap Chinese saw unlikely to last very long.

Bond 8204 14-Inch Curved Pruning Saw This saw is tough and works really nice. Would be even better if you can attach a screw type of pole on the end. But either way, a very nice buy at a very nice price that works well for cutting overgrown tree branches.

James A. Arbuckle was right...you get what you pay for
Metal was not heavy gauge, saw wasn't all that sharp, in use the saw flexed instead of cutting, price was right though...I eventually got the branches cut that I needed to.

Good all purpose saw
Lots of downed branches from a hurricane and the saw did well cutting them in pieces I could handle - works well for smaller cutting purposes!

I bought this saw for the part tang (non-folder), straighter handle and ability to shaft mount as a survival tool. I ground, filed and sanded the back and tip and christened it a machete saw. Using wide plastic tape, Gorilla tape and fiberglass strapping tape I made the cardboard blade wrap into a sheath. It works and was priced right.
