We give this a 5 star rating. We read many of the reviews for this blanket and read about the pilling problem. We went ahead even though a little concerned about this problem and took a chance and purchased 4 of these to cover couches with and use for snuggling with the dogs. Well first wash they did pill alot and pilled worse when we put them in the dryer. A mess. Out of the dryer we brushed them down and were worried about the second washing if it was going to be like this again. Second washing they came out fine but we did line dry. They were great. Held their beautiful color and velvety feel and look like new. So all is well, just love them. NO one that comes into the house can walk away from them without feeling them and commenting on their beauty. We purchased the dark green and they are indeed beautiful to look at and so soft and warm.

I absolutely love this blanket, it is very soft and light weight. It looks so beautiful on my bed. I recommend.

Love the softness, this is my 3 blanket I buy. You wash it dry it and it continues to look as new.

This is the fourth time I purchased this blanket in different colors and sizes. They are not only soft they hold up well. I noticed some people complaining about piles on the blanket after washing. I have washed my blankets several times and one of them is 3 years old and I have not had any problems. Maybe it depends on the color. I have two brown, one lilac and a gray one. Will definitely buy more if need more blankets.

Update (12/2023): I bought another one, LOL. I went for the Lavender this time. I like it still but it is much thinner. I don't know if that is because of the color but this blanket is at least 1/2 as thick as the last two I bought (black and eggplant) two years ago. It is still a nice blanket, and I am still happy with it but it is not the same quality as before. I would rate this Lavender one at 3.5 stars and the others at 5 stars.Review update (2021): the blanket from my original purchase still looks and feels brand new so I came back and bought another; black this time. This blanket is just as amazing, soft and well made. Five stars once again.I have had this on my Wishlist for a few years (I really didn't need another blanket, LOL) but I finally couldn't resist, and I am so happy I didn't. The blanket is extremely soft and the perfect weight for all seasons. I bought the king size so I could tuck it in, and it looks beyond beautiful on my bed. If you look at other photos for the dark purple (that is the color I bought) you will see the actual color. Those photos are accurate.Ther was a tiny bit of pilling when I opened the package. I fluffed it up in the dryer and then washed it a few days later according to the directions. I had a lot of lint come off but no pilling or any other issues (this happens to all blankets in my experience). The blanket came out as soft as it went in and just as amazing.I highly recommend this if you are in need (or want) of a soft large comfortable blanket that you can use for any season and any reason. The color is beyond gorgeous. I will buy from this company again.

Soft and worth the money

I enjoy buying this especially for my husband N he agreed to have orange. That’s actually his cover when he’s down there in the family room relaxing and he loves it so soft and subtle to price. is priceless. The softness is like weight but it also keeps him warm. I definitely recommend this product.

So I didn't realize how small 50x60 inches really is, prob good for a smaller person but not me who is almost 6 feet! Haha but I kept it bc I loved the "sage green" color so much! Which was actually brighter, more like a spring green, which didn't match my bedroom like I'd planned but matched my living room! I was afraid it was one of those factory differences where if I tried to get a larger size it may come from a different batch/facility and then actually be sage green, so i kept it! Haha, that's how much I love this shade... It's actually really hard to find a soft and soothing, yet bright and happy spring green color that isn't too lime-y, olive-y, yellow-y, too dark or light or dull, etc... As for softness, it's pretty standard quality, soft and comfortable but not ultra-soft like some are these days. Good quality, medium thickness (slightly thicker than some cheap ones out there, like it blocks the light very well), some shine but not much. Good product overall I'd just recommend making sure you look at the sizing first!

This blanket isn’t at all the color showing on the picture it’s a dark grey more like a rat colour. I really needed it on the day so I couldn’t send it back but it’s not at all a rich velvety green. Keep that in mind if the colour is really important for you.
