You don't charge it. It's a earbud. You put it in your phones, ipods, kindles, etc. Then you put the other end in your ears so you can hear whatever you are putting it in.

I don't do zoom calls. So I don't know if it will make your zoom call better or not. I never used them on my kindle fire but they should work for sound on a kindle. They sound ok with music on a MP3 player.
