Worked right out of the box on its first use.
I did not have much faith in the DVD Blu-Ray Player Remote Control after reading several articles. I ordered it to replace the one that was lost for a Samsung BlueRay/DVD unit purchased several years ago after placing it in storage. When I received some movie DVDs for Christmas, I reinstalled the unit but could not control its operation remotely. Found this unit on Amazon, ordered it, received it early, unboxed it, placed batteries in it and WOW --it has worked flawlessly every since. I am extremely happy and no need to program in codes to match to my unit!!

Great 4K player at a reasonable price. What more do you need?
Outstanding 4K blu-Ray player. Simple to use and displays a stunning picture and sound. I watched the 4K release of 2001:A Space Odyssey on it and it was like watching a new movie. Also excellent job of upscaling old blu-Ray disks as well. And the price is right, too

I was hoping that this remote was going to work ok on my older 2010 LG Blu-ray player and it does as well as working in conjunction with my LG smart tv! Now I have full access to all the menu options and setup functions.
