The level of "hot" depends on your individual tolerance, of course. I think this Chili Crunch is only a bit spicy, but I prefer pretty darn spicy food. Some will think it's outrageously hot and others (like me) will think it's somewhat hot. Give it a try and see for yourself. I'm not a fan of all the oil and usually prefer garlic-chili sauce that's nothing more than pureed chili peppers and garlic. Even so, this is great on just about anything. I prefer it drizzled over a cabbage, rice, egg, and sardine poke bowl, over sardines and crackers, or over scrambled and/or fried eggs.

Love this product! Excellent addition to any type of scrambled eggs. Nice chili flavor without overwhelming heat.

I love this product! I like the little kick that you don’t get from the Japanese brand i used to love. Only problem is the container design can be improved. Every time i open it the oil from the jar dripping down and make my hands messy… and every time i close it and leave it on the table, the oil drips down from the lid to the table…

This brand is the only crunch chili oil I like. All other brands don’t taste good at all. This one is delicious,! Only thing is the oil dries up or maybe the seeds soak it up after a few weeks. Great flavor

The best chili crunch. Flavor of the momofuku is better than all the rest - a hill I'm willing to die on. You can put it on anything. Not too crazy spicy, lots of crunch, great flavor.

It's a decent product and all three jars were nice and spicy. But I waited over a month for a 3-pack to be delivered after I ordered. I didn't understand what the delay was and I don't remember getting any other updates besides the standard Amazon messages regarding shipping. I got tired of waiting so Idecided to make my own chili oil. My oil tasted just as good as the Momofuko brand. Chili oils do have a lot of diversity and I like use Momofuko oils on eggs, meat, shellfish, noodles and vegetables. Three stars because of how long to deliver.

It actually is crunchy, unlike it's closest competitor. I like the heat, the taste is OK, and there's not a disproportionate amount of oil- but it's way too sweet for my taste. I noticed coconut sugar was the 3rd ingredient before I purchased it but still, I was hoping it didn't taste too sweet. I bought it twice but have to move on to something else.
