The instructions didn’t mention how to use it as a free standing bug zapper so I had to go back and look at the on line video. Don’t know how easy it will be to clean but I’ve zapped a few flys and they simply dropped off. I haven’t tried it as a free standing bug control - there aren’t many about but so far I think it’s going to be a success.

This fly swatter is good, but the flies always seem to be quicker! 😅I like the fact that this swatter is multi purpose, as in being able to stand or hang it and can used as a stand alone device with uv light to attract flies. Plus it comes with a usb charging lead so no need to replace batteries. To use as a swatter the button needs to be pressed to activate. As with any other fly swatter, the flies are usually much quicker! Though saying that I have caught quite a few flies using all modes.

The insect attraction light only attracts moths, not mosquitos or other flies. When swatting manually it works well against moths and mosquitos but smaller flies like fruit flies don't get zapped.

A serious bit of fly swatting kit! Definitively does the job it was intended for!I’ve had something similar to one of these before, but was left very underwhelmed by the lack of power & with a room still full of fly’s.You can leave this on, in a place where you have fly’s & know It has the power to get the job done!

Product looks fab however was a bit disappointed about the fact that it was chucked through an open window and damaged goods in my dining room

I bought this for my mum and now I regret that I chose another brand for myself I just love it.. it does the work
