Scam! AA and AAA only. NO C or D batteries, inserts only that are useless
Scam! AA and AAA only. NO C or D batteries, inserts only that are useless. Didn't even last 5 min the D insert with AA Battery inside. Took 3 tries to get the thing running the batteries inserted keptpopping loose. Does not run like a D or C battery. I have other inserts that take 3 batteries aaa to make 1 D or C battery. Dont buy

Nice case, ok batteries, good value overall
This is a very well priced kit considering it comes full of batteries. The flashlight is not very good but it’s better than nothing in an emergency. The plastic case it comes with feels very sturdy and I will continue to fill it with batteries as the ones that are included run out. The battery life on the included batteries isn’t the best but I mostly bought this for the reusable case. Very good value for money all things considered, but I’d recommend filling the case with Amazon branded batteries once the included ones run out.

I am switching to rechargeable batteries as my kids go through them. My wife uses them for her battery operated christmas decorations. And there are a lot of them. Would recommend these batteries.

Fully charged EBL batteries expire quickly
I purchased these batteries in an effort to avoid the plethora of disposable alkaline batteries we accumulate. Unfortunately, I think I made a big mistake choosing this EBL box.After charging every one of these batteries (on an EBL battery charger no less), they expired within the day. Literally, every single one.We had a blackout in our area last night. A few flashlights needed new batteries, so I installed the (supposedly fully charged) EBL batteries, and none of them lasted for more than a few minutes.And the C size 'shells' that are used to substitue actual C batteries are a terrible idea. Basically useless. Not sure what the point is.Very disappointed.

They seem alright so far just day one
The flashlight is not durable I pulled it out and put a battery in it. It was fairly bright but once it fell out of the case it stopped working. I'll send an update as soon as I give the batteries a good trial.
