Barely covers soleplate on Rowenta Perfect Steam. Springs can scratch up the iron. Not a unique problem to this particular brand. I put moleskin between the springs and the surfaces. It seems to be working well.I like the Teflon shoes better than the metal because it glides better, can use higher heat settings without damaging fabric and it never snags the fabric.

I placed this on my iron and put my iron on medium heat. I like the fact that it does not leave shiny marks on my clothing but it melted to the surface of the iron. While the outside still looks great, there must have been a residue or something on the inside that was like a clear plastic that melted to the iron.
