I was expecting the fabric to be stretchy, but it's not. It's a woven cloth that doesn't have much give. There is fabric-covered elastic on the part that goes behind your head.So depending on how the headband is positioned, it's kind of tight. Especially above my ears.Admittedly, I do have a larger head. But just thought someone might like to know.The design of the fabric itself and the overall headband is a good value for the price.

i love to use these when my hair is pulled up in a curly pony tail. such a great boho look. Im a hot mess in this pic but you get the idea. they are a bit tight but they stay in place even if i sleep with one on

I purchased these for the summer and I love them. I have a lot of hair like the model in the photo and stuggle finding a headband that fits my head/hair and that stays on. I love these because they do both. I just wish they made more colors (i.e. solid colors same fabric) as these would be great for vacation.

Overall I really like these; they're handy, they seem well-made, and they really look good. The problem is that they're each a different size; one fits really well, one is a little tight, and one is too tight. I've put the two smaller ones stretched around a really big pillow so that they stretch to the max, and then let them stay there for a while to see if they would stay stretched out. It seems to help a little; not really sure yet if it will do the trick.
