This is one of the more attractive designs I've come across in a more modern and straightforward journal. The leather is quite nice and the embossed design on the front is attractive and gives an interesting look. I opted for black as I bought this specifically for taking notes on myths and monsters of folk tales and cryptozoology creatures, so the black lent itself to the vibe of the content I intended to write down.However, for a standard journal, the two brown options look like they'd be amazing and I may consider buying both to add to my little collection of journals.The inside is a standard ruled paper, making it easy for modern writing. Many low cost journals have unlined paper and I always find my writing starting to slope across the page at some point without the guide (how did we manage to write so straight without lines in the past?!).A final nice touch is the bookmark ribbon to allow you to quickly and easily keep the place of where you left off.

The cover is soft and flexible and i love it! The lines rule is just right for me. Also like the ribbon that keeps my bookmark. Will reorder when I’m ready an new one

These are such beautiful and good quality journals that I have purchased 5 of them now. The front cover is an amazing intricate design. The pages are smooth and very easy to write on. I was concerned that my foundation pen would ghost or bleed through, but that didn’t happen. I can safely use my fountain pen and the gel pens I write with often. The gilded page edges are great and add an impressive look to the journal.Highly recommend.

I wanted something with a durable but flexible cover and also with some eye interest. This looked great and it was even nicer than I thought it would be. Lays open very nicely for ease of writing.

Just bought this to do some journaling. When I got it I was concerned it would be a very cheap journal, but instead it has been a really good one! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cool journal.
