My family and I adore this little moon. It helped me make a nightlight project I've been dreaming about for years. Do you know the Pacific Northwest Coast native story of how Raven stole the stars, the moon, and the sun from the selfish rich man (who kept them hidden away in boxes) and gave them to the People? It's my favorite story ever. I raised our son hearing it. I've had this etched-glass bentwood-style box by Clarence Wells sitting around for years and wanted to put some kind of a light in it to turn it into one of Raven's stolen boxes, but never came across a lighting element that seemed right for it. I thought about putting some of those new tiny copper-strung fairy lights in for stars, but somehow they didn't look... well, I dunno, celestial enough, or something. I stumbled across this moon lamp on Amazon the other day and had to order it and it is PERFECT. I cut a tiny little notch in the upper lip of the box between it and the lid for the charging cord to go through, so the cord is just there plugged into the moon all the time (it doesn't show at night, though you can see it in my photo). At full brightness, it's enough light to either just be pretty during the day or to functionally illuminate a room at night—too bright to sleep by if you ask me, but yay! the continuous-dimmer function works great, and you can set it at any level you like. So not only is it absolutely immediately obviously the moon, not only is it exactly the right size (I got the little one, the 3.5” one) to be the moon in this box, it is perfectly useful as both a deco light and a nightlight. HOW COULD I BE ANY HAPPIER WITH IT? I couldn't, really. Thank you to the makers!

My daughter LOVES this. I bought it for her last year as a Christmas Gift. It holds a charge for quite a long time and glows very bright. My only issue is the charger quite working. The cord was kind of weak and got bent or pinched. I have been unable to purchase a replacement that fits. Brightworld...HELP!

As you can see from the myriad customer photos, this thing looks awesome! It really does look like a tiny adorable moon.All interaction with the moon is done on the bottom, where you’ll find both the charging port (the moon glows blue while charging) and a small metal nub that serves as a touch sensor. You tap this nub to cycle between cool white light, warm light, or off. Or you hold down the nub to dim or brighten the light. Very easy to get the hang of, but its placement against the charging port does make it difficult to touch when plugged in.The surface features of the moon are admittedly slightly “blurry” when observed up close, and you can even see the lines caused by the 3D printer that built it (see pic). However that does not hinder its appearance from a reasonable distance — put this on a desk or a shelf and it will impress you!

This was exactly what I was looking for, for my daughter's space-themed nursery! It came already charged, so when she opened it at the baby shower the entire room gasped when it lit up in her hand. It's so cute! It's also exactly what she was looking for to use during the late-night feedings. The wood stand brings in a natural element and is a highlight. We love this product! We think it's adorable but any space-nerd will appreciate the accuracy of the moon on it. It looks like she was actually holding the moon in her hand.

Cute and looks just like the moon. But okay, I've had this for over a year and just recently we pulled it out, charged it, and turned it on. I kid you not this moon has been going strong over a week of being constantly on and we have not charged it. I have no idea how its still charged and I'm super impressed!! I don't remember it doing this before but I'll take it.

I LOVE this. It is even better than described and looks as cool as the pics suggest, if not more so. Love the multiple settings; two different color hue options, including dimming and making it brighter on each color. The details are amazing on this, and it truly does look like you've captured a little piece of the moon. The stand is also really cool, and simple. Was the perfect size for a cloud shelf I bought for my son's room to put this on (looks like the moon is in the clouds). Easy charging, and barely can even see the plug-in on it. Does not take away from the appearance at all. Would highly recommend, especially for the price.

Update: The seller sent another moon lamp with the correct charging cable. And after seeing that charging cable, I was able to find another on here at amazon.com. I gave the second moon as a gift. I am upgrading my rating from 3 to 5 in response to the great service I received.Original post: The moon will be fine until the battery dies because the standard micro usb cable that is included doesn't fit into the 1 mm diameter round charging port. Was I supposed to receive an adapter OR a different cable? OR is there a door near the on/off switch that opens to a female micro USB port? I have a couple of weeks to figure this out before returning it.

It’s awesome! You can adjust the brightness with both colors & that’s so awesome! The small wooden stand was a bit hard to put together, it was out of shape from the company but I just took it all apart & then together my way & it worked out! My boyfriend and I always say, “I love you to the moon & back” so I figured this would be perfect for our anniversary gift! Thank you!(The first image is the white color, second is the yellower color. I bought the smallest size)
