Great idea - my kids were so excited to turn them on and brush the whole time. They are a bit hard to turn on for my 3 and 5 year old so I have to do it for them (no big deal). They are at Target for $1 - stock up (why they are $6 on amazon is a mystery to me - what a rip off).

The toothbrush lights up exactly like it said in the ad. My daughter loves watching the light and brushing her teeth more fun.

This toothbrush is ok for kids. I did not get the one with a suction cup bottom for some reason so I'm disappointed there. I got this for my 3yo who loves things that stick to other things so we were disappointed. Additionally the one I received has a turn on switch that takes my some a fee smashes to turn on as it is buried under the rubber handle on the bottom that is actually pointed. Overall not thrilled and will try a different brand.

Since my oldest son is the one who reviewed this product, I asked him what he thought of his new toothbrush. Here is what he had to say:**I can't believe how long I have to brush my teeth. I used to only brush for like 5 minutes but now it takes forever (Mom's note: I love his concept of time..haha!) because I have to press the button, brush my top teeth, press the button again, then do my bottom teeth. I like how it flashes though, that's cool. And it's Spiderman too!**So he thinks he's brushing longer, but he's really not. I do like that it's teaching him how long he should be brushing. He's went from chewing on toothpaste, to brushing for 10 seconds, to hanging out in the bathroom for 30 minutes (what the heck he does in there, I have no idea). Overall I give this product an A... Mommy approves!

My kids use to rush when brushing their teeth. When I seen this toothbrush at the store I figured I would buy a couple and let the kids try them out, after all there were only $1 each.That night my kids were really excited about brushing their teeth. They know they have to keep brushing till the light stops. This toothbrush is perfect for teaching kids that they need to spend more than a few seconds brushing. I seen they also make some toothbrushes with music too. If I see one at a store I go try i'll probably pick some up and try those too. But until then, we'll be sticking with the light up ones.
