I def like the theory of recharging smoke detector batteries but my experience with recharging batteries I have found a poor time of power. How do we check them? Count on the beeper? That drives me crazy. The first machine I received was damaged and having just received the replacement( Amazon CS, kudos to you. You hire the best suited personnel who have to work with sometimes extremely rude individuals b/c they are upset)(💋to my girl Indiana, Thank you) Again, I just received the new machine, but I am going to attempt to chart how fast the recharged battery holds power. Ideally it will be the six month change policy for the smoke detectors.

I got these because my son was constantly looking for a 9V battery for some thing he uses for his guitar. I figured I'd give these a try. I hadn't ever heard of rechargeable 9V before this, so I was very interested in trying these. It will likely be the last set of 9V I will ever get (unless I upgrade) since I rarely see them used for anything anymore.I haven't used them in anything that requires them long term with a slow drain, so I can't really comment on the longevity for that. For items that require constant use, they seem to hold up about half as long as a disposable which is correct because I think Duracell, which we have been using is about double the mAh of these. So my son goes through them faster, but we always have one available.My favourite thing about being able to charge is that we don't have to save up old batteries to bring them to the depot since batteries can't go in the trash so it is good for the environment. I still have to go to the depot with other batteries for now, so I don't get to save on any trips, yet.I like the charging stand. All batteries connected fine and the dock showed red for all and turned green when finished. I tested each one and each one worked. So no issues. I love that it is universal so I can switch to Ni-MH if I wanted to.After looking it up, I have read to not store these at full charge, but to store them at no more than 30-50% charge, so I will keep that in mind for next time. I'm glad they came with plastic caps so they can be stored safely without a chance of terminals touching in a container.I'm happy with it.

Brilliant piece of kit but the batteries let it down only lasting about 3 days in a cat repeller.

I love these rechargeable batteries. I got these for my smoke detectors. Now I don’t have to remember to buy batteries twice a year.

Perfect to have batteries and charger together in a case .batteries have a good life
