This was bought for all the days l can't climb on my exercise bike, which are frequent in old age with RA and OA. It's got to be the best item l've bought all year. It's compact. It's attractive. It's modern. It's easy to assemble even with Arthritic fingers and only need an Allen Key, provided. Just plonk it in front of the front window to watch the moving view of people, or garden visitors out the back, or the sky on a stormy day. Or to watch your telly, or a movie. And start stepping, gently. Use it daily, give yourself give starter minutes, then ten, then twenty, up to 30, or, just plant it in your path inside the hall, step on as you pass, you can tread a five minute bout, and stay supple. I'm on and off it all day long. It's on my rug before the mantle piece. My telly yards behind it. I watch news all day. It's noticeable l've used it, my 'heart failure' poor breathing is easier for hours. Just don't stay on it more than half an hour like me, and it's brilliant. I more than recommend it, l encourage you to try it. It will stop you walking walls inside your mind if life has you trapped.

Easy to assemble. Not too heavy or big to move around. Steps needs to be on maximum hight for the step counter to work as explained in the manual.

Easy enough to put together, once you see what needs doing. Seems sturdy enough, all I've to do is work at it. Seems value for money, as long as it lasts.

Do not buy this if you're an actual adult. The handle barely reaches my hips, and the "stepping" is the equivalent of rising on your tiptoes and then back down. Trust me, save up and get a real piece of exercise equipment.

I've been thinking of a stepper for ages and this one came up as a good deal. Having got one with handles I'm definitely happier with handles rather than one without the handles.Its a great piece to have around the house, put a TV show on or music and go for 30 mins when it's raining outside, it's not exactly the same feel as walking (however it does count the steps on my fitness watch) but it really gets your heart rate up, my calfs, thighs and butt felt it the next day.However, as other reviews have said, the counter doesn't work, it comes on but no steps or time is tracked. In saying that I'm not really fussed as my watch counts my steps and has a timer.Overall I'd recommend this stepper, it's light weight and easy to move around, doesn't make a lot of noise, really works your muscles, only down side, I now can't use the rain as an excuse!
