I didn't need it. I bought it because I loved the look. It takes about 5 minutes to boil a full pot of water. It doesn't have a keep warm feature but the water stays hot for quite a while after shutting off. I love that the top comes off for easier filling and cleaning. My other water kettle the top just flipped up part way and it was difficult to fill and impossible to clean. It has a window on the side of the pot so you can see how much water is in the pot. The knob to turn it on is large and you can't accidentally turn it in on when pouring. The handle is riveted on in an upright position. That's the only thing that I don't like. I would prefer that the handle fold down for easier filling and cleaning but it's not a deal breaker for me. I bought the toaster too and would buy them both again. I'm thinking about getting the matching coffee maker but maybe that's to matchy matchy?

The kettle is great. Works without any problems. Very beautiful and aesthetic design. It looks expensive and is worth its price. I am happy with the purchase!

The media could not be loaded. I like this tea kettle, it is beautiful and sturdy. It performs well, I use it several times a day to make my tea and boil water for cooking. It is easy to use and the weight clearly displays the quality. It is easy to clean and it is electric and has an auto shut off. The price was a bit on the higher side but it was still worth the buy. It is not noisy when it is boiling. I really recommend.

The handle is a bit awkward and inflexible - a side handle would be easier since it’s a tall kettle…and the handle can get hot

A handsome addition to any kitchen. I had the pleasure of using one in England a couple of weeks ago and couldn't wait to get home and place my order.

Handle gets too hot!! It burned my hand when I grabbed for first time, there is no way I wanted to keep after. I returned in original packaging the next day and the seller Spreetail made me pay a restocking fee of HALF the price of the kettle so: 1) don’t buy unless you want to have to use a cloth over the handle (and why do that if you’re buying for looks) and 2) don’t buy from Spreetail

This has been such a nice addition to our kitchen! We use it daily and have not had any problems. It heats up quickly, but does get a little hot on the handle and sides if it’s all the way full.
