This is a fine light. It is structurally durable and will take any position I ask it for years. It is also very responsive, with fine light that can be adjusted to what I want, and it's also just plain elegant.

I have a few OxyLED products and up until now I've found them to be of good value. I cannot, however, recommend this product.I opened the package, assumed everything was intact and proceeded to discard (recycle) all the packaging along with the other Christmas present 'shrapnel'. The lamp was not intact, in fact. The attachment post where the base/'neck' of the lamp meets the lamp itself was snapped in two. At first I thought simply needed some initial assembly, but I soon was forced to recognize that it was essentially useless. If I set the light perfectly flat it will stay put, but there can be no adjustments without a major hassle.At first, the light wouldn't turn on. I tried flipping the power switch on the cord on/off while tapping/massaging the power button on the top of the lamp. After repeated attempts to try every combination of the two switches and verifying that all cords were properly connected and plugged in, it inexplicably turned on.Since I have none of the original packaging I will be keeping this one as a constant reminder to make sure you want to keep something before throwing away the packaging.

This was a great light while it worked. Great maneuverability, great spot lighting. Then it died. We got less than a year and a half out of it, and that was with infrequent use. I know things aren’t made like they used to be, but still, it isn’t Like it got a ton of use either.

I received the light with the silver colored support rod completely sheared of from the bottom of the arm (see picture). This rod helps hold the weight of the upper arm and lamp head, and without it the head will not stay up. This seems to be a common source of failure, as I've seen several other reviewers mention this same point of failure. It seems to me that the bracket that the rod is attached to is too thin and simply can't withstand the tension of the weight of the upper arm.A shame, as the light itself is quite bright, and it is a nice pure white color, not like the bluish white of other LED lamps. There are very few LED desk lamps that offer just one color LED bulb; most have changeable color temperatures but at the expense of not achieving the maximum brightness with the different colors. But the design of the arm support does not give me confidence that the arm will last long.

My son loves this lamp a lot. Good controls and variability. Mounting is super easy with this style of mount as long as you have a free area and a lip on your desk in which to mount it.The design is even cooler looking that in the pictures. Well made and sturdy.Well worth the money for this!

This item worked well and I liked it at first then after a few months it stopped turning on and was real finicky to get it to turn on .. also the metal holding the metal rod just snapped on its own from tension within the unit.. cheap pot metal.. I would never recommend or purchase this light..

The physical switch is pretty useless, as you always need to use the somewhat pesky touch sensor to turn it on. Once on it has a beautiful light, and you can place it wherever you want due to the well balanced arms. The switch is the main issue. The rest is amazing. Honestly, It's a 2 star switch and 5 stars everywhere else.

Very cheap product! This light broke 60 days after I received it. Contacted customer service for warranty and they blew me off!! Had to contact Amazon prime to get involved and it took over two weeks and still nothing done by manufacturer! Buyer beware!!!! This lamp is not cheap in price but very cheap and quality find a different light to purchase and make sure manufacture backs their product before purchasing.
