In the Amazon description these were "grommet firewall hole plug" and the picture shows a plug shape where one side is narrower than the other. The picture included with the case shows the same product, but the grommets shipped in the case are the same width on both sides. As an aside, some grommets needed cleanup with a sharp knife before installation if they would be visible.

Had to cut holes to run cables through paneling and shelves in our RV. These bushings gave a finished, OEM look to remodel work. You need to cut the hole through the panel with a 1.5 inch hole saw. It helps to hide and manage those unsightly wires and cables and help give perfect access to electrical outlets and connections.

I used a 1 inch hole bit through metal and placed 1/2 inch steel pipe through this grommet with the grommet fitting perfectly with both. Feels like quality material and I have no doubt it will last. My only issue is that I don't need all the extra grommets. I wish they would sell a two pack.

My glass cooktop (KitchenAid) had plastic grommets under the control knobs. They had to be removed each time the top was cleaned, which inevitably led to the breakage of the plastic legs. I purchased these rubber grommets to replace them. Hooray…no more plastic, no more breakage, no more need to remove when cleaning the cooktop. Couldn’t be happier…!

These appear to be a quality item, however, be sure that what you are looking for is a snap in bushing that fits in a hole measuring 2” not that fits a 2” knockout or hole 2” IPS. I only gave it 3 stars because I made this mistake. Maybe my fault not theirs, but I’m blaming them anyway 😎
