Works great on my Dell Latitude E6510. The screen resolution is a bit off, and I get the picture exceeding the screen, but that's probably because I'm connecting my high resolution Dell to a 42" 1080p screen, and the resolutions don't match. Has nothing to do with the cable. It's well built, arrived in time and works just as expected.I saw some 1-star reviews complaining about being mislead to think this is a USB adapter. The item's title clearly reads "DisplayPort to HDMI", not USB! It's also very visible that the slanty Shape of the DisplayPort connector is NOT an USB one (also it doesn't say USB anywhere in the product's description).

Does as it says, good quality picture, with no signal issues, still get same speed of picture, it’s easy to use and great value for money

Unlike some cheaper audio/video adapters, this one is well constructed, does not feel cheap and stays together with use. The short lead between the connectors is useful for navigating tight spaces, where a simpler block style adapter would take up too much depth.

When connected to HD TV, it trims about half-inch from each side and top & bottom. As a result, cannot see the taskbar of the windows.Otherwise, it works. Nevertheless, because I could not see the full screen, I had to return it.Instead, I am using DisplayPort to VGI converter. it works perfectly.

Works a treat for turning a non-DP spec screen into one by changing the port on the PC from DP to HDMI.However, please note, I did try my CV1 Rift and it didn't work. These things are notoriously fussy anyway so just meant swapping a few cables around but something to remember if that's specifically why you're thinking of buying this.

This was bought to give a few inches so i could use an external hard drive that had a short lead. It is built like a tank. It gave me real world USB.3 speeds in both directions. If you need a short extension lead, you found it.

Bought item to connect computer to television by HDMI cable, the items connection to computer is not the normal USB connection but a Displayport one. This is not clearly defined within the description of product. Item is useless to me or anyone with a standard USB connection. However delivery time was on time and product is good quality if you have the correct port.

Before this, I bought a cheap Chinese product DP to HDMI and it broke within a year. I bought this one since it's from a reputable brand, forgot about it and it's been over 2 years now without any issues!Highly recommended!

Working as expected. I'm using it for connecting the output of my nvidia quadro 5000 to my Bose lifestyle so as to get HDMI 5.1 audio from my pc to bose system.

Debo decir que funciona genial, aunque no las tenía todas conmigo ya que necesitaba vídeo y audio, esto último no sabía si estaría disponible desde la única salida Display Port que me permite mi PC... tras varias comprobaciones de las indicaciones y características de mi equipo, puede observar que la salida era DP++ y StarTech me aseguró que el audio estaría disponible, dicho y hecho, tengo una buena resolución visual y además un audio perfecto de todo lo que se ejecuta en el PC, aplicaciones, música, videos, etc.Recomiendo su compra sin lugar a dudas, se ve de calidad, las conexiones no se calientan en absoluto y su longitud total está sobre los 25cm por lo que se puede orientar hacia donde se necesite.

Necessario per collegare un portatile fornito stranamente di un poco comune ingresso DisplayPort verso un monitor con HDMI o versoun televisore esterno. Impossibile da trovare nei negozi. Funziona molto bene sia per il video che per l'audio indipendentementedal sistema operativo usato nel portatile (linux o windows). All'inizio ne avevo ordinato da Amazon una marca meno costosa (Rankie, rivenditore esterno) ma l'oggetto non è mai arrivato (rimborso ottenuto velocemente). Il convertitore della StarTech è invece arrivato in pochi giorni ed e' risultato di ottima fattura.
