I don't leave many reviews, but I thought these deserved one.When we moved in to our new house we had a small cupboard roughly above the living room, so I decided I was going to keep all the audio/video boxes up there (amp, Xbox etc) to keep the living room clear of clutter. I ran a long phono cable from the amp (10m) to my base box, but it made a constant buzzing noise, so we switched the sub-woofer off and stopped using it. When I watch movies or play games I really missed not having any bass so re-visited my options. I found these but was a bit sceptical as to whether they'd work or not, whether the quality would be OK, or whether they'd be any noticeable delay or drop-outs. I'm pleased to report they've performed perfectly!!. The background buzz has completely gone and there's no noticeable delay in response...it's just clean, crisp bass. Wish I'd known about them earlier.

This worked perfectly connected my sub with in seconds stable connection, so why the one star , like I said the product it great but it’s also great at killing your WiFi once connected WiFi vanishes what is left is so weak you can’t connect to it disconnected and WiFi comes back, for me it has affected tplink wavlink routers and sky and virgin media modems , if you don’t use WiFi in the rooms where your sub woofer is then this device will work for you but if you stream anything forget it , with regret I send it back and will put up with cable connection to my sub

Excellent so far - no issues as of 2 days in. Connected up straight away. No noticeable lag between amp and subwoofer. True wireless subwoofer now.Delivery on Prime was exemplary. Packaging more than adequate.Transmitter and receiver come with cables for several different configurations, and two USB plugs as well. Each unit is the size of a small box of matches so very easy to discretely hide.Not suffered from any disconnections etc as yet, even though we turn off at night.

Product works well. I connected the transmitter to the pre-out on my stereo amp and the receiver to the line in on my REL subwoofer. Up and running without any problem. However, be aware of the following issue. I have a Sonos multi-room system and the subwoofer transmitter interferes with peer-to-peer transmission between Sonos units. I couldn't get round this by choosing a different frequency band for the Sonos network. Am currently trying to see if there is a work around as it is preventing the Sonos system from working properly.

Having always had some background hum from my self-plumbed sub's wired-connection, I thought that I'd try this solution out. Reviews were OK but nevertheless I had some doubts. Needlessly I now know. This product is excellent. Simple to install and sound quality is the same (to my ears and music preferences!) as a perfect hard-wired connection (yes, I have tried a cable across the floor to see). Nicely packaged and MOST IMPORTANTLY comes with brilliantly compact 3-pin plug USB adaptors! Very pleased with the purchase. Well done Marmitek!

I'm always dubious about wireless devices - I try every possible option to resolve an issue with a cable first.After moving into a new rental with existing wiring - and having no option to replace the existing wiring, I was left with a (not insignificant) hum coming from the sub. I tried several different approaches to defeat the hum, but it just wouldn't go away.I tried this kit (they're a lot smaller than I realised) and there was an instant, noticeable improvement. Complete silence from the sub when before it was wearing away on my sanity :)I would recommend these to anybody!

I had previously used an AV sender with my subwoofer which worked well enough, but produced a constant low frequency hum which was noticeable during quiet periods of the movie. It didn't particularly bother me, but it drove my wife mad and so for the sake of our marriage I decided to try the Marmitek 635. Even with the standard supplied cables the sound is very good. The background hum has gone and there is no noticeable lag in sound. It is a lot smaller than I had expected, making it very easy to place and installation really is plug and play.

I thought the other 1 star reviews were wrong. But I experienced the same problem. The device uses up a large chunk of the 2.4Ghz spectrum which makes WiFi and Zigbee unusable. It took me a while to notice it was the culprit, but happy to get it out. The audio quality loss was also unacceptable, I’m going to run a cable instead!
