Brilliant book!!!

Bought this for my nursery children (3-4 years). This is a brilliant sorry! And really highlights the point of keeping healthy! It's short and simple. At the back of the book it even has some nice open ended questions you can ask the children!

Weakest of the series so far. Disappointed.

It's the 4th in the series and the first our son hasn't been impressed with, one where both adults who've read it thought "what a silly ending!"It follows the traditional tale fairly closely for the majority - a cooked gingerbread man runs away from the old woman and man and others who want to eat him. But the fox gives chase and can keep up.I'll give a spoiler here but only for parents wondering if it's worth completing their series collection.*SPOILER* The gingerbread man escapes the fox (!!!!!) who then gets the old woman, man, cow and horse fit instead so they can resume the chase. I'll quote my husband here: "what?!"*END SPOILER*Trying to hard to fit the theme into the fairytale. Much more successful in the Cinderella teeth-brushing and Three Little Pigs nose-blowing books. The illustration style is very attractive to look at and the notes at the end are useful for parents and other adults reading. I just don't think this tale is the best way of conveying the point, or conveys it the best way it could. Sorry Steve! But keep them coming. Great idea for a series.
