TL;DR: For the price, not a bad tree, but make sure you have something you can steady it against.I really appreciate how easy to assembly this tree was. I've had it for about a week, and it seems durable thus far, doesn't shed, and my cat loves the fabric. She spends about 90% of her day camped out on it.However I have to say I don't agree with most of these reviews. The tree was so unstable that at first my cat wouldn't use it except to quickly jump off of it to get somewhere else -- and she's a single, 1-year old, small cat. Not even putting it in a corner or weighing it down was enough. The only way I could get her to use it was to wedge it between the wall and my dresser (photo attached) and that's with a weight still on the bottom.Additionally, the levels are stacked right on top of each other, which makes it pretty difficult for her to climb. I specifically wanted a tree like this because it took up less space than the ones that are more spread out, but I can see now why most trees stagger the levels a bit more. The fabric is too slippery for her to cling on to as well, which I don't think helps. I have to keep rearranging my room to try and find a way to make the levels easy to climb while also making sure the whole thing doesn't wobble. I should add that I DON'T think it's at risk of falling over -- but my cat didn't like climbing something that wobbles.All in all, not a bad deal for the price, and it WAS easy to assembly. However, if it weren't so big and wouldn't be such a pain to pack up, I'd return it.

I have had several Armarkat trees, and they've lasted well with high use by six large, active cats. This tree is no exception. I ordered a different brand for some foster cats, and within 1 month, the carpet on one of the posts was off. Within 4 months of light use by two small cats and a kitten, one of the platform posts broke off, scaring the poor fosters. The other tree looked like Armarkat but clearly was not the same quality. I will always buy Armarkat now. If you do need to replace anything on Armakat, you can buy replacement parts. Go Armakat!

My cat loves this. It’s made well and the perfect height in my opinion! I also like the soft material. The assembly was simple.The only problem I’ve had is that it has been knocked over. Of course my cat and dog go wild sometimes while they play, so that’s probably why. I would definitely recommend this for your kitty. :)

This is my fourth Armarkat cat tree since living in the states, and the first time I cannot give 5 stars. Perhaps it is my fault for picking the wrong model, as all my other have a 4 column base. I wanted a smaller tree for a different space, and it simply doesn't have the stability that is needed for cats running at and jumping on a tree. In the past I have had nothing but praise for this brand, but the smaller ones should come with a distinct warning about stability issues.

It’s the first cat tree I bought and my two cats (1year old male and 5 months old female) are delighted ! Fun and easy to assemble, so soft and sturdy, and looks good ! Moreover, I received it a week earlier than I was supposed to. It’s the 2nd day and my two cats are already sleeping on it and playing with it. Thank you Armarkat !

my wife and I have raised 8 cats over 30 years, and for the last 20 have had an armarkat cat tree in our house. they are well made and easy to assemble. the only complaint with this one is that it was not as stable as others. otherwise i will give them 5 on all other aspects. very well made and durable

Our cat is pretty small and light, and this tree has been great for her. It's quite sturdy, although there's just a bit of a wobble to ours. We could probably eliminate that if we put some sort of shim underneath the short side, but honestly, it's not enough of a wobble to cause concern, and it doesn't bother the cat. We've had ours for a couple of years now, and it's still in great condition.

This cat play center is wonderful! My cats immediately showed interest, and love it already! The product took me 10 minutes to assemble and all parts were included. The house and base parts are more of a velour type soft material and the posts are rope wrapped and perfect for claws. The unit is quite sturdy, as you can see in the pictures one of my cats is quite obese (lol) --20 lbs to be exact, and he jumped on and off without toppling it over (which I was afraid of). It's a perfect size for smaller spaces and looks visually appealing in the home. While I would have more than loved to give the unit 5 stars, I had to give if 4 because both play ball on string pieces were not attached and had nothing to attach them with. ***Edit: I changed to 5 stars as there was a loop on the top tier that enabled me to tie the string and ball you.

Like other people stated it is not very stable, my cats, one fat and another angry, aren't huge fans. Fat one was placed on top because it's to big to get up it alone, jumped off and knocked it over, not fat angry one just ignored it. I assume my cats are just jerks, and fat, but they want nothing to do with it, however doesn't effect the quality, which is good. I mounted a 2' x 2' piece of plywood on the bottom to address tipping. Anyway my cats don't like it but maybe yours will?

The tree is sturdy, can handle my 17 lbs ragdoll jumping up and down the different levels without falling over or wobbling. The only thing I changed was the middle level, I switched it out with an old cat tree I was replacing with this new tree. My cat was having trouble jumping up to that level with the pointy corner in the way because he was using the top of the first level as a step to get to the second level. Once I changed it he had no trouble getting to all the different levels.

This was the second time we purchased this cat tree. We liked the other one so much we purchased a second one for another window. Our cat is an adult cat and fits on it. It is sturdy and the material is nice. The first one we purchased is almost 2 years old and is holding up well.

It does wobble a tiny bit but that's not a problem. He is an adult cat and can lay comfortably on it. Easy to assemble
