I purchased these to protect my hands while wood carving. The gloves have absolutely worked fantastic! The weave is tight and these gloves have kept me safe.Please review the size guide carefully! The gloves are expected to fit snuggly, which I didn’t know initially, so I originally purchased one size too big.. After reaching out to the company to understand better how the sizing works, they helped me find the right size gloves and the new ones fit perfectly! They were extremely responsive and helped me get the right size and I received them really fast!I will be ordering more, this is a great product!

With a sharp knife, I was able to cut the tip of the glove finger straight off in one motion. I placed the glove on a cutting board, made one slice motion like I was chopping carrot slices and the tip of the finger was sliced straight off. Made me cringe to think of things... Still, the gloves are quite "resistant" to cutting, and I got them so I wouldn't fear my mandolin and could start using it again. Works!

I bought these gloves specifically to help with food handling using the mandoline. I have always liked the idea of fast food processing with the mandoline but I was hesitant because the potential danger of slicing injury that can occur with many different mandoline models, especially for someone like myself who can be clumsy at times in the kitchen. These gloves were indeed of high-quality and did not disappoint. The right fingers felt comfortable and safe inside the sheath while firmly gripping the foods. I have a madolin slicer I bought last year and I have injured myself every single time I use it. I was ready to chuck it in the garbage but it does such a great job that I gave it another chance by buying these gloves to protect my hands. These worked so well. I sliced a lot of apples today with no issues at all. No blood in the food. No skinning my hands, just slicing. I am so happy to have found these and to be able to use my mandolin slicer with confidence. They fit well and move easily even being able to pick up thin apple slices without any problems. Finally a glove that fits! According to their measurement guide I should have a size L-Large, but since I just returned two other brands size X-Large because they were too small, I ordered this brand, also X-Large. These fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I use them for fishing and handling spiny and toothy fish like Grouper, KIg Mackerel, Wahoo, etc. So if your order these, go one size larger....

I only wear a glove on my left hand when I'm cutting since they don't have a lot of grip and my right hand isn't in too much danger since it's holding the knife. They fit well, but when I'm cutting vegetables or fruit there's also with a lot of water and juice. I have to put a latex glove over it to keep it dry. The first time I washed it it took forever to dry. And I also see that one has developed a hole between the thumb and first finger, right about where the company picture shows the knife blade.

I got these to wear when I whittle (wood carving) and they have definitely saved me from cutting up my fingers. They have been pretty durable and only have a few frays after months of use. However, it is important to note that you cannot use touchscreen phones with them on. Additionally, wood fibers do get stuck in the fibers of the gloves which is a little annoying. I would definitely recommend to get these if you are taking up whittling.
