It's easy to setup, and works well. The maximum open time for each outlet is 4 hours, and wish it has an option to open continuously for general watering purpose. I also like that it uses a 9V battery which can last for a year. It's more expensive than the others but if it's more durable than it's worth it.

I purchased this in April and wanted to give it a few months before I reviewed it. Setting up is straight forward and now I have got used to the controls to use for manual, I am finding this a real help. I have set it so it goes on for 15 minutes to fill the pond and the other side is on manual. Not having to remember to fill up the pond is a real help. You can set it up for which days in the week you want and at what time. I cannot recommend this enough…

Works well and easy to programme the timer did mine whilst having a cup of coffee took 5 mins. After 5 years and due to my stupidity I left it out in the winter, temperatures were below freezing and split the inside water conduit so don't leave them out in a climate that has bad winters. Battery i replace every two years regardless. Its well made nothing cheap inside, would recommend but expensive.

We have this controlling a drip feed system ensuring all the plants are watered daily. We never have to worry about remembering to water or not being home, this little box looks after everything.Easy to install and set up.Not the cheapest but you pay for what you get and Gardena are very good at what they do

Hi I upgraded this year to this product but it still leaks at the connection to the tap. I could have bought a cheaper one a third of the price !Update The leaking from the top has got worse and worse and I have had to revert back to the old one !!! Waiting to get a response from gardena customer service . Finally got through today after days of trying and writing several emails! The service man has now escalated it to his technical team so hopefully I will get some help

Researched the various options available before settling on this one and glad that we did. It is very sturdy and easy to programme. Attach to good quality soaker hose for best results. We also bought a Gardena twin tap connector which allows you to also attach a garden hose to the tap for occasional watering, or a sprinkler.

Much easier to use than I thought. Works well. High quality. For the first time ever my lawn (at the back of the house) and plants (at the front of the house) did not die over the summer whilst I was away.
