The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Other Stories (Leather-bound Classics) Leather Bound – November 1, 2011

I bought this as a gift for my niece. While I was a little upset at the sticker that was on the back of the book, which took quite a long time to try to get off so that it didn’t ruin the cover, I was able to get it cleared and my niece absolutely loved it. It felt like a wonderful quality and I wouldn’t mind one on my own shelf.

Sherlock Holmes short stories are extremely well written, easy to understand, very vivid descriptions. Some stories are quite long but broken up into numbers within a chapter. Recommend

A great gift to anyone who wants to read the great master of storytelling.

This book is STUNNING and I was so excited to unpack it. The leather cover is beautiful, and thin pages are edged in gold that is lovely. I highly recommend this for the price.

I can’t believe I went so many years before I started reading Sherlock Holmes. I really missed out. The stories will not only greatly entertain you but also will increase your intellect as they’re very cerebral and the thought of the stories is very advanced. You will learn tons of new vocabulary and expressions and also better learn how to think critically. This book is beautiful and seems well made.

Bought as a gift and think he will love it. Very nice quality.

So.. I loved the book. It’s very beautiful! The only thing as you can see in the picture is that it came a little undone in the front.. but as you can attest in the next picture, it’s only in the front.. the rest of the book is well sewn. I won’t mind buying the other books from this collection that I have on my list. Hope this helps. Cheers!
