Idahoan Baby Reds Mashed Potatoes Family Size, 8.2 oz (Pack of 8)

I always have this in the pantry. It's the last minute item that fills out the dinner menu after a long day.One packet easily serves four. What is not to love?

I can say, these Idahoan Baby Reds are the best "instant" mashed taters I've come across.A lot of decades trying "instants".... which, usually taste, pretty bad.Not so with these.... These are GREAT.... and even some folks who insisted they couldn't be fooled... were.And with this bunch, that's saying something.You don't have to "add" anything for flavor... they've already got it.But... if you do add your own "special touches"... I wonder .... if you didn't know they were instant... would you be able to tell???You may still be a die hard, from scratch, mashed potato lover... but, if you don't have the time ... and still gotta have some... try the Idahoan Baby Reds... You will not be disappointed.

Everything they are delicious and I was raised on Idaho potatoes

The flavor is delicious. I've read that leftovers are not compostable due to the added ingredients to the potatoes.

Each of these bags contains eight servings. I have discovered 1/2 cup of potato flakes to one cup of water makes a perfect serving for my husband. I don't do carbs or starches and, honestly, have never cared for potatoes. The Idahoan brand makes many flavors: garlic, parmesan, three cheese, plain baby reds. My husband likes them all and it's so easy to bring a cup of water to a boil; add a half cup of potato flakes, stir and cover for 5 minutes and I've got a hearty side to go with his meat of choice at 11 pm when he gets home from work. It makes it very easy when the rest of the household are day workers and already bedded down for the night.

These are really good potatoes when you want something quick… my kids love them

We love red potatoes and these are super easy to makefor a quick addition to any meal or even by themselves with butter.

I think they are the best potatoes in the world. But I have a very difficult time being able to buy them. Wish I could get them on a monthly basis. Do you know if I can somehow?
