Sequence Rummy Challenge Cards

As a mom of a child with special needs, these cards are perfect to help my daughter start sequencing pictures. The cards are beautiful - very clear pictures with simple scenes and sequences. They also include many everyday activities, which means that my daughter can relate to and easily understand the sequence (such as brushing teeth, blowing bubbles, baking cookies). The sentences in the back of the cards are well done too. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this to teach sequencing to my toddler. While he won't understand all of the sequences, there are enough to get him going and add on as he advances. I'll likely laminate them but they're not flimsy. But in my toddler's hands, they probably won't last long. The pictures are large and bright and easy to understand. That's what I was hoping for. If you use it as it's meant to be used...as a game of rummy...I can see that being a lot of fun for little ones. I'm happy with the purchase.

I got it for my 3.5 yr old. I bought it for educational value. Severs its purpose. He can not play with it for long time like some other toys. But he is able to spend 10 minutes. When it comes to the stuff with educational value his attention is on lower end. Never the less... It helps me know how much he knows. Some of cards he know's what to do. So he sequences them in right order. Some of them he still need's exposure. It helps me when I plan activities to able to better assist him and show him how they work.

Try to get kiddo to put the stories together but if was a bit of challenge for her. A 4 year old will need quite a bit of scaffolding to get the hang of this. Very beautiful Ardsley too

These sequence cards are useful however, some of these sequence photos can be tricky. As you will see from the photo, those three sets can happen in several combination orders. I thought it was straight forward, but my 4 year old daughter showed me the other possibilities by being adamant about her sequence answer. I wish that the sequence set came with illustrations of more everyday life steps that children actually experience. I feel that it would be the best way to teach sequencing as well as being most relatable which makes it easier for them to learn. As an adult, we can figure out the order based on the words on the back, but there are a few that had generic sentences which made it challenging to figure out the order. Luckily, I was able to figure out that the last two numbers on the bottom of the back of the card dictates the proper order. Other than that, they're simple enough for children and it gets the job done.

Nice pictures on the cards with the words to reference on the back. Decent amount of sequences, but I received it missing a card from a few of the sequences :-/
