First, I have a 2023 Jeep. I took a chance that nothing in the design had changed since 2022 (the end date for the models this product says it fits). I’ve dropped my key fob several times. I decided to try this item to protect the fob from cracking one day. I had no problem fitting this item over my key fob. It is indeed protective, but it’s also heavy and bulky. I think since the Jeep fob is already bulky there is no avoiding this fact. Ok, so other things that are not ideal- this might not matter to some but why is the hardware on the fob protector gun metal when the hardware on Jeep fobs is nickel? On that note I wanted to make sure buyers knew that though no key ring is pictured, this item comes with a key ring hanging from the strap. One last thing: several times the dash of my Jeep has indicated the key fob is not in the Jeep. This may go back to the fact my fob is for a 2023 Jeep. Or it may happen with all the fobs. The cover might block some sort of sensor. In the end, I’m not sure how long I will leave the protective cover on. I also wanted to point out a free mirror air freshener comes with this set. It’s made of leather.

This was very easy to install with the provided tools. It was a bit bulkier than I expected, but very protected. This is fantastic if you're worried about dropping your keys.

Why would I want to make an already gigantic key fob even bigger? One reason. The blade. It often gets accidentally activated in my pockets. The button just sticks too far out.Well, this pretty much makes that an non issue. But that ends up creating another problem. The shell makes my key too big to fit in my hood lock. The bolt hood lock sits behind the grill of my jeep.I can no longer get it in far enough to turn.So I ended up putting this on my spare.Assembly is easy. Four screws and it's done.The fit is okay. There's a little bit of play. It would help to have a thin foam strip to take out the tiny wobble.Overall, this shell also offers pretty good protection. It's built solidly.

This is really nicely made and fits my around my key, but there's just enough room for the key fob to rattle around a tiny bit. Some thin rubber padding in a couple of places would make it almost perfect.One major plus is that there is room for the physical key to be extended easily. Not all fob covers allow that.Not wild about the visible logo on it, but that's not a big deal. It also came smelling like it had been coated with laundry detergent; I had to wash my hands to get rid of the perfume smell on my fingers after assembling this.

This fob cover seems to be very solid build and even looks great on your key. I did find that my remote distance was drastically cut down and even sometimes in the vehicle while in my pocket, it could not detect the key while having this cover on.

Great cover and fits nicely around the key fob even allowing the space for your key to flip out. Comes with the tools you need to put it together quickly and tightly. It's a little bulkier than I would like and heavier than you would expect a key fob cover to be. The materials are perfect as far as strength and look goand it is very simple to piece together!

Very masculine and durable key fob protector. It is made out of metal and will protect your key fob from dorps and scrapes.

Seriously, this key cover is like giving your key a suit of armor. It's very stout and durable; but almost too much so. The cover adds to the overall size of the key, so don't expect to slip your key to fit into your pocket, but the level of protection borders on military grade.One thing to note: the transmission range of my fob seems to have been diminished by the case. Whereas before, I could lock/unlock and remote start my Jeep from across the parking lot, I need to be within 30 feet to do the same.
