Fast, easy connection, great product for the price!
Fast delivery and the gateway can connect up to 9 sensors. The app is easy to use, for all of us technologically illiterate individuals. Setup of the gateway and sensors was very simple and easy, just make sure you have AAA batteries for the sensors/gateway. The only complaint I have is that it's hard to tell the sensors apart once they've been connected. Aside from that, it is an amazing product! The humidity and temperature reading is very accurate and will be a great help in my garden. Great work inkbird, I look forward to seeing what you come out with next!

Pretty good
I purchased the IBS-M2 with 3 sensors. Took a bit to connect, found you really do need to be close to your router like the instructions say. Once it connected pairing the remote sensors were easy. I found it takes 20-30 minutes for the sensors to normalize in the different places. Def not instant. I like being able to look at the app or the screen to see what the temp/humidity is outside and in my small grow box that I start my vegetable garden in. The sensors are magnetic and have a hole for easy hanging. The history on all sensors is nice as well. Def more accurate and steady than a cheap two pack of sensors I had purchased before. All in all pretty good.

Does not work properly
tldr: very frustrating to set up, hidden requirements, does not accurately display or record data.First, this requires a separate Wifi Router to work, that was not clear from the product listing. To make matters worse not just any will work, it needs to be 2.4 Ghz and not a 5 Ghz or a dual mode 2.4/5 (though if you fiddle with the settings on a dual mode randomly you may get it to work). The manual is extremely bare bones, to get real info you have to hit the internet forums. And it must have the network because you can't even register the sensor's with the display without using the app and the Inkbird app can't read the sensor's directly, it needs the gateway to access them.Second, you're going to need that wifi a lot because if you loose power to anything the display gateway looses the sensor and you have to reconfigure that through the app. And good luck figuring out which sensor gets registered as which channel.Third, sensor readings in the App and display are wack. Sometimes they're good but they don't often match the real temp. If I use the old Engbird app I can read the temps from the sensors directly and see they are reading accurate, but the display and Inkbird app are not matching that; sometimes off a little sometimes off wildly.Fourth, the Inkbird app UI is not well thought out. There isn't a convenient way to view all the sensor data without flipping around and the graphs are not very granular.Fifth, this isn't a real data logger. In trying to make this work I found others figured out that they only store 2 in 10 data points and interpolate the rest (i.e. make it up).And sixth, the Inkbird app won't log data at anything less than 5 m intervals. That is just wholly insufficient for a lot of tasks.

Nothing to rely on
Difficult to follow directions for set up. Once figured out, easy to navigate and use the system. Reliability of product questionable. I would guestimate that the system is fully functional only about 30% of the time. Someone may say well the Master control panel is too far away from the router or is is not operational because the system isn't operating on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. (it is and only 20 feet away from the router) I have three satellites plus the main unit. When fully operational, the main unit works great plus two of the satellites. The third one, which I put inside a refrigerator, is somewhat reliable but I am fine with that because of the shielding of the fridge and its location. (worse case situation for a functional system) Anyways, the bottom line, if I really needed critical temperatures watched, this is not the product I would choose.
