I purchased this my my new Maltese puppy who gets those nasty tear stains daily. I use this brush with contact solution to clean her eyes.

It's a metal comb —no more, no less. If your dog doesn't like being face brushed, this is not going to be an easy process. It also doesn't work well if your dog tears a lot, like mine. I kept it, but I was hoping it was something more flexible that could help me keep the area clean without a battle from the pup.

My dog absolutely hates these combs (she hates anything that touches her fact) but I love them!!! I have been searching for something to remove the crust that hangs out around her eyes. I wipe her face with a wet cloth (which she also hates) and the comb pretty much slides through her hair. It's also great for combing food out of her hair in between baths.

We have a tiny Yorkie that gets the little eye-goobies all the time. Recently, my dog's vet showed us how to use this and so I went and bought one. This works SO WELL, it's gentle, and he wasn't afraid of it. I had no problems removing his eye-goobies. definitely recommend!
