Having started to experience problems opening jars, bottles and tins due to onset of arthritis, I have already found this invaluable.

Useful to open tight lids - max size lid = 8.5cm
I bought this to help me open lids on jars that I struggle to open because they can be really tight.The largest opener just manages to fit our largest pickle jars which have 8.5cm diameter lids but you have to stretch the opener to get it to fit the lid so it could have been made a bit bigger.I'm thinking of buying another stainless steel opener (it mentions arthritis in the description) to see if that fits the bigger jar lids better..
