Great starter machine
I was going to buy an expensive machine but my husband talked me into buying this as a starter and I’m glad I did.No issue grinding beans.I like that I can make the cup volume more by holding the button longer.Steamer is a bit loud but it heats fast.Makes a good cup but I’m no expert or coffee snob. I like it better than some of my Starbucks I have gotten as of late. I discovered I could steam my chocolate and mint creamer and it tastes amazing. My not be “proper” but I don’t care it makes me happy. I’ll keep using until it dies.

Works fine
It works fine it is a little Finiky with the pressure regulator unless you press your grinds perfectly you will get to much or way to little pressure to make actual espresso but once you get the hang of it it's a good system I would recommend looking up the tools for making espresso as it does not come with any extras including a grinds filter or a whisk to break up coffee grind clumps noise level is about as loud as a microwave

Good Machine, But Way Too Early To Break
I received my machine in November, and it worked pretty good until the descaling light came on.I followed the instructions, but the water never came out of the brewing head only out of the steam tube. Tried it four times and then I called the number in the Manual.Had a very nice Lady asking to send a video of the machine not doing what it is supposed to do. I did and got an instruction video which I followed. But, unfortunately at this point, the machine is blinking and stuck in the descaling cycle and not working at all!So far customer service was quick and helpful but now I was told to expect to hear from the engineers in 1-3 days.I hope they are any good and can help me. Loved the machine, but four months is awfully early to break.I will update my review when I have heard from them. To be continued….

Ok machine
I like that its simple to operate. The only thing I don’t like is there is no means for me to adjust the temperature of the coffee. I like my coffee very hot, but always have to reheat it in the microwave after I fill my cup from the machine.

No coffee to be had...!
Right out of the box after looking for damage on the outside of the boxes.. I set it up on my new counter top in my newly remodeled kitchen with a neighbor who I invited in for cup of coffee, and following directions i attempted to grind some coffee and nothing, OK..! Now skipping that step I used some powdered coffee that I had from a previous machine I start to extract some coffee and now nothing but room temp dark water was extracted.. I was so embarrassed..! Thankfully I did not throw out my old machine which was smaller and cheaper I made us some coffee and changed the story to shake off my embarrassment... Learned my lesson bigger and more expensive is not always better...!

Punches above it's weight for the cost. Excellent for beginners!
I'm mostly comparing this to my friend's $800 Breville espresso machine since it's clearly designed to look similar to that model. The espresso from the Breville machine is undeniably better, but only by a bit. For the price, it's very hard to beat this machine.Grinder:- Very good for an entry level machine. It grinds consistently and fine enough for espresso. I put mine on '9' and found good results, although you will have to dial it in to your machine.- It does not stop automatically, so you will need to press the button when you want it to turn off. Minor annoyance, but somewhat expected at this price point.Steam Wand:- Works as expected. Pro-tip, just turn it all the way on / off. Make sure to purge it before / after.Espresso:- I find that I get a decent pull each time. It's very easy and there's no 'tinkering' involved with this machine.- It does shut off automatically, but I recommend cutting it early since it tends to pull a little too long.- My only complaint is that the pressure doesn't get quite high enough. This results in an under-extracted pull. However, this is not uncommon at this price point, and I think beginners won't notice the nuances. This isn't a machine that you can program or tinker, so I wouldn't get this if you really enjoy dialing in your espresso shot. That said, this is a great device for someone new to espresso who isn't sure they want to take the $800 plunge.
