For whatever reason I thought the lights were going to play music. I was wrong. There is an app on the box that you can scan and download that plays music which makes the lights flicker to the beat. I still really like them though! I’m using this idea (see picture) for my classroom door, and I’m putting these lights around the door frame. The kids are going to love seeing their names on the door and the pretty lights! I highly recommend these lights to anyone.

So we got these for a party and have mixed reviews. Are they cute and fun and festive, yes! People really liked them, I think because they were so silly and fun.The main issue is that the product simply does not match the product images. The image that says FANCE is not the style of lights I received. Those show heavy duty cords and individual separate lines for each bulb, that's not what I got. I don't think any of these shopped pictures match the lights I got - the others show a round cord. The cord on my set is a thin ribbon that is pushed down into the plastic bulb housings. The video however does appear to be of the set I received - notice that the cord you can see near the end is a flat ribbon.They're also rather fragile, it is easy for the bulb to pop off and then you see that the lights are LEDs that are inline with the cord. When a bulb pops off you have to push that part of the cord back down into the bulb and then click the top part back on. The clips on the bulbs are small and because it's easy for the top to pop off we did not use them for hanging, we attached paracord instead. I would not leave these up outside all the time, they do not feel at all sturdy enough for that.But the real problem was getting them to work without the app. I was hoping to use the remote control since I did not need to have my own lighting pattern or sync to music. But there is no manual for the remote. Some options seemed to lock up the bulbs, others did nothing. There is a QR code on the box that indicates that it would take you to the manual, but it just took you to the install instructions for the app, which were already included in the box. I plugged them in at the start of the party and they were doing this very cool color changing wave, which looked great after I used the minus button to slow it down. But at some point, with no one making any changes, the lights just started doing their own thing for the rest of the night, almost like they were in a demo mode.I can't speak for how well the app works because I did not install it.I'll use them for future parties because even with the difficulties they are very cute, but if you're looking for really sturdy outdoor lights to leave up, these are not.

Untangling or unwinding these lights was the hardest part but didn’t take more than 10 minutes. I’m sure there is an easier way but I did it my way. lol. The light string is long. Plug in was usb so you need the usb to wall plug adapter, not included, but we all have these spares sitting in our junk drawer by now so no problem. Powered right up, the remote is easy to use and gives all kinds of cool options with these lights. Aesthetically pleasing no doubt. Five stars.

Love these lights so much and they appear to be well built. I have them in my backyard and kids love them. Can change the colors of the lights from your phone. It’s super easy.

It works as expected, however l believe that the light could stay on a bit longer.

It does what I bought it for I can see my pups outside
