So easy a 10 year old can assemble
Needed one more nesting box in my coup. This was cute and cold so on the floor. Was a perfect project for my 10 year old grandson to assemble by himself. Roof is slippery so we added wood dowels to the top so hens could climb or sit on it if they want

More than just for chickens!
I bought the first one for the chickens-but, before we gave it to the chickens, we were messing with our granddaughter and put a stuffed chicken on top of a wooden egg! She loves it so much, and looks for that egg every time she comes over! Was heartbroken when she saw the box in the chicken coop. So, we had to buy the second one to keep inside the house for her!

Very cute design. Decent for the price.
It's a decent product for the price. We are using the nesting box inside our chicken coop. We added a 1/2" plywood back so we could securely hang it in the coop The "back" they sent was a piece of 1/16" thick black plastic. As you can see, we cut the plastic up to make liners for the nests, because we did not think it was suitable for a back to the box. We also added a perch on the front because the coop is going to be raised up off the floor. The paint is just primer. If it's going to be outside, it would need to be painted. The design is very nice. I think my hens will love it!
