I used to trim my hair shorter, it held my hair in place so it was easy to cut. I love that it is lightweight. I am to have better control over what I cut.

Both are the same size.

Dificult to use by myself

i tried ordering this twice and both times i got 2 of the same comb. Not one for each side like the pictures show. Dont know whats happening but would not recommend.

Ever since the onset of Covid, I have been cutting my husband's hair. I looked up several hair cutting videos online, and I have finally become quite comfortable with cutting his hair at home with clippers and scissors. However, I take an unduly long time to blend/fade his hair. This can get tiresome both for me and him! So, I am eager to use this fade comb during my husband's next hair cut to see how much time I save on his haircut and what the outcome would be!I am deducting 2 stars as there are no clear written instructions on how to use it or a video to give some guidelines on how to use it properly. Also, I haven't come across any instructional video online on how to use this particular design/style of fade comb.Update (2/20/24): I tried using this comb for my husband's recent hair cut, and it was a pain to use it. I tried different angles, and nothing seemed to work well for me. I finally gave up on it and did his haircut the way I normally do, with scissors and clippers. So, I would pass on this tool for a novice home barber, unless the seller uploads a good video demonstrating how it is used!
