LISTEN UP!You MUST go into the hidden bios and turn down the power limit from P1 and P2 to 80w and 120w. Also, you need to enable overclocking so it will actually get benefits from these power limits.It was factory set to disable overclocking AND maintain a power draw of 200w???? This laptop got EXTREMELY hot, and i understand why because of these settings, but the average Joe isn’t gonna know to deep dive into a bunch of settings to fix things.Since I’ve made these changes, the laptop runs sooooooo much cooler, quieter, and faster! It was really sluggish at first because of thermal throttling, I legit started a return and packed it up to be sent back.But then I gave it another chance and deep dived into the intimidating settings and fixed the poor thing, and it’s sooooo snappy! It responds and loads applications wildly fast, I actually feel like I got this thing for an absolute STEAL at $1,000!!!

For the specs, is a bargain in my opinion. Great graphics, great drive room and fast as you spect. The box came a bit damaged in the front with a scratch and there were some marks on the case that looked like something sticky was on it before, so I was worried at first, then it didn't turn up, so I was even more worried, but then I realized there were no scratches directly in the laptop case, the marks in the case were easily cleaned with a paper towel and as soon as I connected it to the power supply and turned it on, it started working perfectly. Windows is always easy to set up, although would prefer windows 10 but 11 is ok I guess.

Has a sort of middle school-aged type design, the actual laptop barely functions- most of the keybindings are for some reason linked to random functions that aren't originally indicated. For example, the sound keystrokes open up random ctl+f type mechanics... and overall the product is glitchy, and slow. It has the speed of a public library computer (I actually think a public library lender laptop would be quicker). I genuinely think this is a used laptop and they threw some new stickers on it to say it's unused. The MSI center is buggy, get frozen and constantly has me re-agreeing to terms of service and saying it needs to be updated. I would have returned this sooner but I've been busy. 1 star because it works- if a slow google search is the limit. Aside from these specific issues I'm having, the laptop is considerably bulkier than expected. I'll most likely go back to the stealth model that I really like.

The165 Hz QHD display version has outstanding visuals. In researching this laptop it was cautioned that the 165hz display would slightly affect game play due to the power draw. On first person shooters I did notice the reaction time on my part had to be quicker than on my other laptop to achieve the same results, but I would not trade for a lower resolution panel. If you are a highly competitive gamer, I would go with the 144Hz panel. My overall experience with this laptop is much more than I expected for the price point. You do get a plastic body, but the internals have cooling pipes of a more expensive laptop. Very happy at this point but will upgrade ram to 32Gb

This is my 16yr old son’s school computer for a programming class. He has had it all school year and recently had an issue which needed repair. The companies manufacturer warranty covered the cost 100% and the process, other than dealing with USPS, was extremely easy and fast. MSI was amazing and we appreciate their work and timely repair! ( My son uses this a ton and it has been a great purchase. The need for repair was probably from his overuse of the device and unrealistic expectations for what it could handle. The device is solid and we would purchase it again in a heartbeat.)

It’s an amazing laptop. It is actually worth the price because there is nowhere else you could get a rtx 4070 laptop for this cheap. It is also running well, giving a lot of fps on games, and it is good for all work. Even if it is a good laptop, it also has its cons like the fans sound is a bit loud(not loud as other fans), its heavy, it have a really low battery life(cannot complain because it is a gaming laptop), and in my opinion, I thought the design had a rgb logo on the back, so that disappointed me. Other wise, great laptop to buy.

I purchased this laptop for my 9-year-old son. After less than 6 months of light, supervised use, it began having serious malfunctions. Amazon refused to assist because the return window passed, and MSI pushed responsibility back to the seller. I'm left with an expensive product that doesn’t work properly and no one taking ownership. This is deeply frustrating and unacceptable for a premium device. Think twice before buying.

It runs really hot. To the point where it shuts down if you have a program running on it for a few hours. The fan is pretty loud. Everything else is great. Just make sure to constantly save your work.
