I recently had to replace the power mirror control switch in my 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty. The switch in my truck broke, and I needed it replaced quickly. The installation of the new switch was relatively straightforward. If you're comfortable with basic truck maintenance and have basic tools, this is something you can tackle yourself. The hardest part was removing the trim panel around the switch, but once that was done, swapping out the switch was quick and easy. I’d say it took about 20 minutes to replace, which was a relief, especially compared to some other parts I've had to replace. I also take my time and do not rush repairs. So, it could take less time. The build quality of the replacement switch was on par with the original. It’s sturdy, with no signs of cheap plastic or flimsy construction. It fits into the dash seamlessly and has a nice, smooth action when adjusting the mirrors. I’m confident this replacement will last as long as the original did. As far as the cost, the replacement switch was reasonably priced, and I was able to install it myself. It feels like a good value, considering the ease of installation and the improved functionality.

Awesome part definitely would buy again

Pulled product out of the box and immediately knew that it wasn’t going to work. Installed switch and sure enough, it would not operate mirrors without having to practically force the toggle in the direction you want the glass to pivot. Left and Right detent is virtually none existent, so you question whether or not it’s in the proper location that you’ve selected. Pulled the switch apart to see exactly what was going on. Poor casting from factory causing direction toggle to bind up in the housing. Detent springs are about the micron of a hair, and not allowing good pressure on the detent ball to lock into its channel. Very cheap design. If it’s quality and dependability you want, stay away from this product!
