Let me first get some things clear, because people seem to buy this on impulse and do not know that they either need: A.) The Moment case for this lens to ATTACH TO. or B.) the mounting frame, also sold on the moment website for this lens to Attach to in case you don't want the case or your phone isn't compatible with it.On to the optics: quality, this lens OOZES quality. It produces TACK SHARP pictures, it's really amazing. Overall very satisfied with the macro lens. I bought them for trips where I can’t bring my DSLR and just have my phone with me. These lenses are very light and portable, which makes them ideal if I’m traveling light. It is very easy to put on a lens or switch it out for another.A couple of things to note:Phone case required: as pointed out in other reviews this does require a special Moment phone case (sold separately). I know some of the other brands offer clip-on, but the ability to securely fasten the lenses onto my phone without having to worry about it falling or needing to adjust the position was actually a selling point for me. I’ve tried the clip one and always had trouble with vignetting (or poor positioning) and constantly needing to adjust. Also, the case itself is quite nice in its own right.Lens caps: These lenses come with one main lens cap and then a microfiber storage bag labeled with the lens name (which is handy if you have more than one); however, this does not have a cap second side, and I would really like to have a second lens cap.Macro focus distance: In order take in focus pictures with this lens, I have to be insanely close to the subject (to where the white plastic rim is practically touching it), which makes it a little awkward when trying to photograph certain subjects. This is actually my biggest complaint about the macro lens, but overall I am still very satisfied.

let me start out by saying, this lens is awesome. This is my first time using the macro lens. I had to learn how to use it through trail and error and watch a video or two on YouTube. Once I figured out some basics, I started taking a lot more shots. although I'm very new and inexperience to photography. I'm excited to use this lens any chance I get. the only problem I have with this is,the additional attachment that is either to protect from direct light or some kind of light controller. I don't know where to place it while on the go. I'm concerned becuz I don't have anything to put it in even thought the lens bag is only meant for the lens itself. other than that, overall its very well built and expensive, but its an investment.

The media could not be loaded. Maybe a little on the expensive side for its limitations. Definitely leaps and bounds ahead of the built-in macro lens on my iPhone (13 Pro) though. And absolutely better than the previous macro lens attachment I had.The focal area is a little small and you have to get pretty close to the subject. The diffuser ring is nice, but it makes getting close enough to your subject a little challenging. If it’s a very tiny subject, you’re likely better off just removing the diffuser.Additionally, this will NOT be useable without the corresponding products! You have to buy the drop-in mount, AND the phone case to be able to use it. (Though, to be honest, I was able to squeeze the drop-in mount into my very flexible, rubbery, compostable phone case. It’s not ideal, definitely stretched out the camera opening on the case weirdly, and the case sits funny on that side now, but it’s serviceable.)Idk. I found another, similarly priced brand that makes a larger macro lens, with a bigger focal area, and offers a universal clip-on mount, so I may try that one out too and compare.All in all… this is decent. (I had a really good one years ago, but this type of product in general seems to have gone a bit downhill since then. At least the affordable ones.)I would definitely recommend this as a better, mid-higher end macro attachment. It seems superior to most of the others on the market right now. So, if you can’t afford an actual camera and a $500-$1,000 macro lens, this might be for you.

You can never go wrong with moment lens. They are super clear and sharp as wel fit in your pocket. Dont forget to buy the case otherwise you won't be able to use it.

Love the lens. Two drawbacks - having to change my phone case is one. The worst is that within 3 weeks somehow I lost it! It’s fiddly to keep taking on and off for different photos. I’m going to Re-order but have get a pouch to sling round my neck.

The lens is perfect for very close up phone photography.Shipping was fast and it was well packaged.

If I had the chance I would not buy this. Not really using it a lot for general photo shooting. But the quality is just amazing, highly recommended for people that will use it a lot.
