Wish the bottom was stained but otherwise cute! You do have to assemble but it was super easy

functionality and looks!
Love the rustic look of it and the price is great when I don't have time to make one myself. Just note, the woods aren't very sturdy but its sturdy just enough for a reasonable weight. Make sure that its not designed for heavy stuff in the box.

very hard to put together
The groves cut in the base were to small, I had to nail it to hold it in place. Also had to use my own screws to keep it in place. Never expected this to come unassembled. Very bad quality.

DOES NOT COME ASSEMBLED!
My bad for not reading the description! You have to assemble these, and they come in like 12 pieces. They come with screws and a little screwdriver.Other than that, they looked perfect and definitely met the budget!

Assembly Required
Nice wooden storage crates (2), assembly is required. In my view, the price is a bit high for a decor item that requires assembly.The items arrived completely unassembled and came with flat-tipped lag bolts and an Allen wrench for assembly. I noticed that some of the holes were slightly misaligned, so I believe sharp-tipped lag bolts or wood screws would be a better choice for any wooden storage or furniture pieces. Therefore, I will be using my own sharp-tipped lag bolts/screws to ensure easier and more stable construction. The wooden bottom is a doubled thickness and lightweight but it may not hold heavier items, such as tools, for transport.These will be a wonderful addition to my living room storage. They are perfect for holding lightweight items, such as throws and crafting items. Nicely stained, they can easily be customized with paint or engraving. Additionally, they are stackable and can serve as a storage table in a pinch, just add a flat tray to the top.
