I own an inspection group and do inspections too. This by far is one of the best gauges I’ve found and use constantly.The only thing I’m critical of is the “hose Bibb” attachment material. It’s pretty this and threaded in a way that if you’re not careful, it could easily be damaged. Be patient, attach slowly and no issues. Just wish it was a thicker brass material.

The gauge construction is very good. It is oil filled with a stainless steel housing and (based on the exposed threaded fitting) brass internals. I can't attest to its accuracy without a calibrated comparison, but for the money, I recommend it. However, I was disappointed that the fittings are all anodized aluminum, not brass. I know there is a movement towards aluminum to get around the EPA limits of lead in brass fittings, but this is a device that is generally used only when a measurement is made and certainly would not contaminate potable water. Overall, the system would be much more durable (and probably expensive) if the fittings were made of brass.

Very well made, accurate, and doesn't leak water. I needed a water pressure gauge that didn't leak water so I could test our irrigation line for any slow leaks. The pressure gauge showed the same 65 pounds reading until I was satisfied with the test (no leaks).

Buy this one. It's solid. Made to last. Accurate reading and very easy to use. Comes with a couple different attachment options, 2 washers that may be needed and plumbing tape. Don't waste your money on plastic water gauges. This worked like a dream and arrived in less than 2 days.

It is disappointing to receive an opened, looks like used purchase. But more aggravating is seems leaky and missing a part.Arriving, I noticed right away that the box is wet. It doesn't look too. It's confirmed with one of security seal tape open. All the parts inside are wet too with oil. I could live with all that if not the 3/4" to 1/2" Spigot Adapter is missing. See all these from picture above.I haven't bought the cheapest thinking they could be compromised. But buying one double the price and on this story state, it's unacceptable.

This tester was perfect for my application. I tested my water pressure at various points in my home and found an old plumbing issue that I corrected. Without a tester like this it would have been impossible to locate the problem without ripping out walls all over my home.

Gauge accuracy and build is good but fitting are cheap aluminum and not brass. Fittings can easily be misthreaded and rendered useless.

Several neighbors reported getting HIGH readings so I purchased this recommended water pressure gauge kit and it (luckily) returned a reading in a nice, reasonable range. This worked easily and very well. Gave me peace of mind for a very small price.
