Minerva Christmas Dogs Print Polycotton Dress Fabric Navy Blue - per metre

I love the design of this fabric - it is really hard for me not to give it 5 start. The dachunds with their little Christmas hats and scarfs are super cute and perfect for Christmas - I just had to make a dress from this fabric.It does say dress fabric in the listing and whilst it is very light weight it does not have much stretch so perhaps not ideal for this purpose. I prewashed the fabric at 40 degrees - there was not much shrinkage but it did fade a little. It still looks good though. It was easy to cut and sew, there was very little fraying and it was quite forgiving of my many re-dos.Do take care with ironing - there is a lot of poly in that cotton so will crinkle on a hot iron - medium only.I was very happy in the endup. the dress has a nice crisp finish and I super love the print.
