This brace has given me back full use of my left hand. I had surgery on my right hand for the CMC joint and don't want to do that again. It allows full range of movement with good support. Other braces I've tried are hard plastic between the thumb and forefinger and are very restrictive and uncomfortable. I am able to wear this one all day in comfort while working two full time jobs. There is still a bit of discomfort in the joint, but I think this brace will allow for my hand to recover and keep feeling better with continued use. I do recommend going up a size if you are in-between two on the size chart like they recommended. Very happy with this purchase!

I have a damaged thumb from birth, I think it's hereditary because my mother also has it. I drive delivery trucks and a few weeks ago I turned my thumb, it hurt to press down while holding on to my fingers. To be honest, I bought this for the good price and I didn't want to spend money on something that might not work for me. It did its job, a little uncomfortable the first day, but after that it's not so bad. I only use it for work now. And today I just realized that my thumb doesn't get hunched like it used to. My birth defect finger is fixed, thank God and this brace. First review I've done on Amazon and I bought one for my mom.

Its hurt after wearing it for a while

I've purchased many hand braces in search for a good CMC thumb brace, this one is not it.Photos deceiving by using fake bone x-ray overlays to distorted the actual views. Inadequate support of the CMC joint and surrounding tissues. There is more support on the top of the hand, then the inside of the hand for thumb support. Item is over priced, not designed for daily long-term use.Just to try it on, I noticed, it is lock of padding, the inside metal strip is only half way support of the CMC joint/tissue to provide thumb stability. Velcro will not last for daily wears or long term use. The thumb opening is very small for a normal size small person. I'll be returning it.

The box had obviously been opened but I thought maybe it didn’t fit and was returned even though it was sold as new. I hadn’t noticed the smell of a cologne or lotion that I can’t stand until after wearing it and throwing the package away. I wish I had checked it more thoroughly, I would have retort. Instead I sucked it up and washed it with Dawn.

I have bought at least 10 different styles and this by far, is my favorite! I have CMC issues in my thumb that require surgery to fix however, taking 8-12 weeks off is not an option at this time, so I use this to constrict the movement and it works perfect!I am able to continue grooming dogs ❤️🐾I would recommend trying this to anyone In the industry looking for temporary relief.It did take me a few days to get use to, but now I don’t even realize I’m wearing it and tend to leave work with it on. Lol

I really like this little brace I have Basil joint arthritis in my thumbs I had surgery on the right thumb, but I’m not having surgery on the left thumb so this one is great for that
