Good quality, good supplier
This arrived very quickly, within 2 days of ordering. I use various Melcourt bark products, and they're all good, but this is the deluxe version of pine bark. The bark pieces are very small for mulch, so this is nothing like the normal (huge, horrible) bark mulches. Melcourt state particle size is 3 - 18 mm, but most particles are between 5 - 10 mm. I also use Melcourt propagating and potting bark, to make soil mixes (like bonsai soil). This is slightly more expensive than their propagating/potting bark, but also has less sapwood and dust - hardly any, based on my first look. And it's a larger particle size, which I need for some mixes.. It would work nicely as mulch for pots or if you want a neater, more even look on beds, for bonsai soil mixes, as said, for orchid composts, and for reptile bedding. Melcourt products are very good, but I have previously bought propagating bark that was crawling with fungus gnats, worst infestation I've ever had - this is not down to the producer, but due to how it was stored at the suppliers, I am pretty sure. This was a one-off, from a supplier I'd not used before (and won't use again!). The bags have holes in them, probably to prevent the bark becoming anaerobic, but this means it can't be stored outside unless covered, or it will become a home for fungus gnats, which love the stuff.. This one has no flies in it at all, I was pleased to note. If you're using it as mulch, it won't matter if you store it outside, as the flies will not survive in any numbers once it's put down/used. But if you intend to use it indoors, as I do, then I would advise being careful how you store it to avoid infestation. Would recommend this product and supplier and will be buying again.

Prefer to others
Decided to try because of the price, cheaper than orchid bark, but ended up preferring it to the others. Really light so good if you are using in the mix to aerate your plant soil and better looking if you are using as mulch around plants

Excellent - I've bought this before
If I buy a product twice, it's a good one. I bought a bag of Suregreen Melcourt SylvaBark | Pine Bark Mini Mulch a few years ago and I put it on the top of pots and tubs (I have a lot of them, and some a rather big) to keep them looking tidy, to stop weed growth, to help keep in moisture during hot days, and also to try and stop the nuisance of all nuisances vine weevils from laying eggs in the compost and killing off my plants. I've just bought another bag and the way I use it, it will last quite a long while. It's recommended by the RHS, so that's another plus.

Not for windy patio
Its not heavy enough for strong winds. It looks nice, cat loves lying on it… a dwarf nectarine tree 50cm pot. I left the bald patch after sweeping everything up and putting it back to be blown off again very next day. It’s probably designed for gardens. The conditions could be different.

Excellent mini bark!
Bag arrived well wrapped and very quickly. Lovely fresh smell too. My garden borders now look fabulous as the colour is a light brown and lifts the overall look. Very professional looking! Great price for the amount received and a good service from the seller. Highly recommend this product.

Happy
Came earlier than expected bag big enough for what I need it for. Bit orange looking but not really a problem. Very happy and would recommend

Very fine
This is really attractive bark. More expensive than if you were to buy at a garden centre however.
