Heavy, sharp, and well-balanced, this knife is easy to control and graceful to work with. There's nothing cheap about this machined work of art. I own about 12 Dalstrong knives, expensive Ken Onion Shun knives, and fine Japanese cutlery. I'd choose the Dalstrong Valhalla 9.5 inch Chef Knife over them all.

Shipping was extremely fast, the knives are impressive and sharp. The design of the knifes and initial feel are good, but without testing them for a time, I can’t answer for the actual quality. The initial sharpness though I can say is well done and razor sharp, I mean shave your face without skin damage sharp. They come with leather sheaths that do protect the blade and overall make a good impression of quality.

I love this knofe. I'm a Cook 1 and I get some many compliments on my knife. The best one was when I accidentally left it at one of my jobs overnight and when I returned for my shift .one of my Coworkers told me to get it out of there bc they almost cut off one of their fingers. Very beautiful tool♡
