make sure wall is sturdy
I put this in my mud room to sit on to remove my shoes, my mud room is a very old room and the studs are too far apart to attach both attachment point properly , I removes the paneling and put in a cross board to use as attachment point . this was very time consuming but worth the work , make sure you have strong hands because my drill wouldn't fit under the seat to screw the screws in. I drilled all pilot holes and run the screws in and out a couple times and then installed the screws into the fasteners on the chair with my hands . OUCH! it fits fine and is very useful to sit on while putting on shoes to take dog out to walk. the feet on the legs screw in and out to adjust and level the seat that is a plus. all in all it is well built and worth the money if you are handy enough to put it in. good luck

Installing is a challenge
I had my walk-in shower installed before I thought of purchasing this shower chair. As a result of that I wasn't sure where the studs were behind the shower tiles. I bought a stud finder but it gave inconsistent results. I didn't have a hammer drill which is the only way to drill through the tile. I hired someone with the right equipment to drill into the tiles. It wasn't easy at all. While there are three holes on each of the attachments to the wall, I only drilled one hole for each attachment. It seemed sturdy enough but I was worried it would eventually fall away from the wall. So I bought liquid nail glue and put it behind each of the wall attachments. So far it has worked quite well.I am so glad I went through the effort of having this installed in my walk in shower. I don't always need to sit while I am washing in the shower, but it is quite convenient to put my feet up on it in order to wash them. I just wish I had thought of this before I had the shower installed. I am sure it would have been much less trouble for me. But all in all, everything seems fine now.

I love the look and sturdiness
I decided to rip out my prefab shower and construct a tiled shower wall and floor from scratch. I had initially planned on constructing a built in corner bench. But as I was working on the shower, I realized that the corner bench would take up too much space in the small shower (36" deep x 48" wide). So, I decided that it would be better to mount a folding wall mounted shower, that allows the seat to be raised out of the way when it is not in use.I considered purchasing a floating folding wall mounted seat, but I was concerned that it might not be very sturdy or eventually pull away from the wall. This seat offered the best of both worlds, because the weight of a person's body is supported by the legs on the seat and it can be lifted out of the way when not in use.The only negative thing that I have to say is that it is difficult to install. The mounting brackets are permanently attached to the shower seat and there was no mounting template that came with the unit. So, I had to hold the entire unit against the shower wall to the desired height and mark where the bracket was to be mounted, while trying to balance the weight of the heavy unit. After several unsuccessful attempts to hold the seat against the wall while trying to locate and mark the holes for the mounting bracket, I used a 2 x 4 to support the front of the seat while I attempted to mark the holes where the seat was to be mounted. In hindsight, I probably should made my own paper template, which probably would have made my task much easier and less frustrating. In the alternative, I should have asked a buddy or neighbor to hold the seat in place while I marked where the seat was to be mounted.Despite the frustration I experience, I don't regret purchasing this products, as I am pleased with the end product. The seat and metal legs are sturdy, the wood on the seat is good quality, and the seat looks exactly like it is pictured online.

Very nice bench!
I spent a lot of time looking for different options for my bathroom. This was the cleanest and simplest solution. Install was simple and didn't take munch time. The ability to lift it up and fold is really nice. I only have two complaints. First being there is not silicon seals or anything with the screws to seal out water. Second is bench just pops up when folded. I wish it had a latch or something to keep it. Not a deal breaker but just small grips or suggestions to the manufacturer . But they don't take anything away from the bench its self. The construction of the bench is strong and sturdy. The legs are the biggest selling point. It holds a lot of the wight and takes all the stress off the the wall. You will very happy with this bench!

Amazingly difficult to install.
It is a good product but it obviously was never installed by the mfg. Ineffective measurements and no template. Not a good purchase for DIY people, even with lots of experience. If they would only provide a template, it would be a breeze. Without one, it's a nightmare.

Affordable, safe,secure and comfortable
The folding shower seat exceeded our expectations on all accounts, we were looking for shower accessory for our aging grandparents, that would provide greater confidence and safety while taking a shower. The mounting system was not only easy to install, but also extremely solid and secure. The seat material is comfortable, and safe feeling due to its non-slip surface. I would highly recommend this shower seat to anyone needing and affordable safe and secure solution for person’s needing additional care in the shower.

The rust makes me regret
I bought this after my wife fell in the shower shaving. It has barely been 4 months that this has been installed and the “Stainless Steel” legs are rusted badly. I wish I could get my money back. Save your money and buy a plastic collapsible seat.

Quality materials
Been stainless steel is a major plus it won’t rustVery well constructed.Fits perfectly and it will go back on the wall when not in use if you align correctly the base to the wall when you put the supporting screws.I strongly suggest using stainless screws to prevent water rust stains on the wall.A must have on your Bathroom, very strong
