So convenient for traveling with a child!
This packs away compactly and didn’t take up much space in the carry on bag. You use your mouth to blow it up which felt slightly awkward at first but it blew up quickly so is ultimately a non-issue. I suggest blowing it up about halfway, getting it into place, and then finish inflating it fully. My daughter is a petite two year old so it gave her so much extra space to stretch out and even left room for me to prop my legs up as well. We had a long flight from the UK to the US and at no point did she get fussy from being cramped in her seat. It can easily be used as a foot rest at home too so is useful even outside an aircraft. Definitely recommend if you’re traveling with tiny humans, it was a huge help.

Perfect for parent & young child
The media could not be loaded. I stumbled upon this type of product on a travel parent’s blog site, but decided to get the koala kloud brand instead, after reading reviews from other brands. We just took a 5 hr flight from LAX to Honolulu w/our 2.5 yr old who is quite tall for her age. This was our first flight where she got her own seat so the whole cushion thing was experimental for us. Needless to say, the koala kloud held up to the expectations and was a useful tool to have in our backpack when it came time to napping on the plane! How it worked for us:Because my daughter on the longer side (as a toddler), she would lay her head on our lap and then spread her legs out. It worked perfectly for me to actually sit across both our seats and prop my legs up in the cushion so we could both sleep comfortably at the same time. She also used it as extra comfort with the tray table down and when watching in-flight entertainment. Some things to note:1- The kloud has own inflation spout but with 2 enclosures. If you enclose the black portion it makes it much faster to inflate by mouth. When you pull off both enclosures the whole thing deflates pretty quickly. I’ve attached some videos for reference.2-when fully inflated, it’s quite snug when you stuff it in front of your chair on an economy row. I would say you could almost deflate it a tad if you wanted to.3- you can also turn it horizontally and just use it as a headrest on your table tray. I saw an adult do that on our flight to take a nap!4- it’s sturdy, easy to inflate and deflate, easy to quickly fold up and stow away once your flight is finished.5- the additional drawstring cover to keep things sanitary is a plus! I didn’t realize the cushion came with this but am so happy I had it cause it puts germaphobes (like me) more at ease.

Check Airline Restrictions Before Use
I generally love this foot rest and have found it to be a great comfort on many flights. However, I was disappointed to learn during a recent 10-hour flight on Hawaiian Airlines that this item is banned. The airline staff informed us of this after takeoff, which was particularly unfortunate as we had successfully used the foot rest on various other airlines in the past. This unexpected restriction left our small child without a comfortable place to rest his feet throughout the journey. I recommend checking with your preferred airline to ensure this item is permitted to avoid similar inconvenience.

Overnight flight with 2 kids became manageable
I flew from the East Coast to Europe and back on Norwegian Air with my two kids: 11 months and 4 years old, and this turned the trip into a pleasant one, despite an overnight flight and a very late return flight.I had purchased a bare-bones seat (no checked bag or meal) for the baby, assigned seats for everyone, and two inflatable footrests, so I was with my kids in a row of 3 seats between an aisle and a window. I inflated the two footrests for the window and middle seats. This made for a big play platform from which the kids could not escape, and few toys fell. When it was time to rest, the oldest slept on the two seats and the baby on the two inflatable footrests on both flights, which made it much more relaxing for everyone, including other passengers. One of the flight attendants actually asked me for the name of these because she thought they were great, has young children, and was planning a trip with them. The only (minor) issues I ran into were the following: (i) when used like I did, there is no good way to use the seatbelt for the baby during turbulence, and (ii) the footrests will start to deflate as the plane lowers its altitude - soon after which the airline won't allow these to be used anyway.I can't comment on the durability, I inflated them only twice.

Hard
Very hard to inflate - especially when on a crowded, red-eye flight. Ended up returning because it just didn't work out for us with our toddler.

Best purchase for long rides
This pillow, where do I start, I got this for an overseas move with my then 4yo and 1yo. But before that we took the train from Los Angeles to East Texas and this was a surprising necessity for that long looong train ride. I used it for my feet since the train leg rests are an odd length and not at all comfortable for sleeping since my feet would dangle and the leg rest would cut into my calves. I used this to just make everything more comfortable and it was. I also used this for our overseas temporary move to Germany and back. These flights were when I was able to really test out how it works on a tight spot like a plane and it was so perfect for this. My kids slept wonderfully with this and I was able to breathe for a moment. It inflates as fast as you can blow, which is a little bit of a hassle, but nothing horrible, and the dual valve means that for landing all you do is pop it open and it deflates in seconds. The carrying bag is also super useful for travel. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone traveling but especially those traveling with small children who need to rest their heads, or their feet.
