Works absolutely perfectly, and a great value.
I have this hooked up in my office so I can transfer between my 2024 MacBook Pro (2.5Gbit via Caldigit TS4 Plus, 2022 Mac mini (with 2.5Gbit USB adapter), and my PC (MSI X870E Carbon with 2.5Gbit port). This was as easy as it gets to set up. Plug in to wall, plug devices into switch - done. That's all there is to it. Speed is in line with what you'd expect for 2.5Gbit with file transfers, and no issue using other non-2.5Gbit devices at gigabit speed on it. Excellent! Only minor quibble is it would be nice to see LEDs on the front to determine connection speed, but this is a minor complaint.5 out of 5. As good as it gets.

Excellent Switch
This product operates flawlessly as intended. Its modern and elegant design complements my home setup perfectly while delivering impressive performance with my 2 GB internet service. I appreciate that most devices typically support speeds up to only 1 GB, which means I need to invest in an adapter for each device I wish to connect to enjoy the faster speeds. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this item and its capabilities.

Fantastic
Worked great! Plug and play, but I would double check if your system is set up to activate VLAN.

Make's buzzing noise constantly!
Ah, the 6 Ports Ethernet Switch. Four glorious 2.5G RJ45 ports, two blazing-fast 10G SFP ports, a whopping 60Gbps switching capacity! The promise of networking nirvana for my 2.5G NAS, 4K video streaming, gaming PC, server, WiFi 6 AP, and PCIe adapter. It sounded like the future, a symphony of speed and connectivity. Little did I know, the only symphony I'd be getting was a relentless, soul-crushing BUZZZZZZZZZZZ.From the moment I plugged this metallic box of disappointment in, it began its auditory assault. It's not a quiet hum, mind you. It's not a gentle whir of fans doing their duty. No, this is a buzz. A constant, high-pitched, persistent BUZZZZZZZZZZZ that penetrates walls, defies earplugs, and slowly, methodically, chips away at your will to live in the same room as it.I've tried everything. Moving it. Placing it on different surfaces. Wrapping it in blankets (don't worry, I didn't suffocate it, though the thought crossed my mind). I even tried talking to it, reasoning with it, asking it nicely to just be quiet. It just buzzed back, louder, mocking my feeble attempts at peace. It's like having a tiny, angry bee trapped inside a tin can, and that tin can is now the centerpiece of my home office. It's louder than my gaming PC under full load. It's more annoying than a telemarketer calling during dinner. It's the auditory equivalent of nails on a chalkboard, played on repeat, forever. The irony is, the network performance is actually pretty good. My files transfer quickly, my streams are buffer-free, and my online gaming latency is low. But at what cost? The cost is my ability to concentrate, my ability to have a quiet conversation, my ability to not feel like I'm living inside a poorly maintained electrical substation. This switch doesn't just connect your devices; it connects you to a new level of auditory torment. It's not just a piece of networking hardware; it's a tiny, buzzing monument to poor design choices. The manual doesn't mention the "Optional Ambient Buzzing Feature." The product description fails to include the recommended decibel level for comfortable cohabitation. If you value your hearing, your sanity, or your ability to enjoy a moment of silence in your own home, steer clear of this buzzing beast. Unless you plan to install it in a soundproof bunker, a different zip code, or perhaps on the surface of the moon, this switch will make its presence known, one irritating buzz at a time.In summary, this switch is fast, but it's also a noise pollution generator. It's like buying a sports car that comes with a built-in, non-stop air raid siren. The performance is there, but the experience is unbearable. Buyer beware: you're not just buying a switch, you're buying a headache with network ports.

Works great for 2.5gb
It works great for 2.5gb. 1gb runs at 800mb which not as good as the 1gb switch it replaced but 200mb better than another 2.5gb switch I tried. All of the lights are on the back side of the switch, good if you don't want flashing lights in your view. It has enough weight to stay flat on the desktop even with all ports used. Power cord has a good length.
